GREAT 8$ knife:)
This knife is very good looking and has a heavy feel to it, which i see as a goood quality. The color is great, and all the accessories work PERFECTLY, the seat belt cutter can cut through the fabric i tried it on(i had no extra seat belts to sacrifice:D) and the glass breaker is great as well, i froze water over night in a pitcher and the next day set it n outside table, upon slammin the breaker into the ice it EXPLODED. The blade is very sharp out of the box and cuts through paper, the clip is heavy duty. And hangs on very well.the blade is so easy to pull out my 12 year old girl cousin can use the knife with ease, so this would be a great knife no matter size or age. BUY it

Exceptional build for a small price
I have a drawer full of 2-10 dollar folding knives from various vendors, sites, and places. This EMS rescue knife and one other are the only two that I would consider a duty knife. The rest are awkward, structurally unsound, or ugly as sin. The walls are thick and sturdy, the blade is wickedly shaped and functional, the glass breaker looks like it is meant to be used, the seatbelt cutter cuts paracord with about 3-4 pounds of pressure, and the liner lock is a very solid and reliable one. The color makes me cry, but it grabs attention from across the room and is very easy to find if dropped in leaves or brush. If I had to chose one sub-10 dollar knife, this would be it. 5 stars for a quality product, delivered quickly at low cost.

Very good strong knife! (for the basic buyer, not a knife enthusiast)
I started my EMT class and when I was told we were allowed to carry pocket knives on campus I jumped on that, being a young girl I know I'm a target at all times. It has stood up well, it has a nice, basic, sturdy design. It feels quite heavy in your hand and all the parts are metal. I have to admit the black blade is quite attractive and I really like it. The medical symbol is a nice touch and it is an actual metal insignia on the handle, though the blue is more of a navy blue not a bright blue as it looks in the picture. I thought I had read some people saying their pocket clip had broke? Well I had this knife clipped into my pocket and was in quite a hurry, somehow the clip snagged the metal plate on the door (the part at the same spot as the door knob) and pulled it out of the wall partially. The clip got pulled out a bit but DID NOT BREAK! It actually stopped me in my tracks! So overall, great priced basic knife that is sturdy and well made and I highly recommend it!

Good functional knife for price
Great knife at great price. Especially good for your glove compartment. It could save you or your families lives if you get in an accident, and don't have time to wait for ems to get you out. "please never attempt to leave car in an accident unless it is to dangerous to stay in "that said their are plenty of other uses for it on a weekly basis. Right now I have no children in care so glove compartment if you do put it in a locking compartment. The blade is plenty sharp enough and is easily sharpend I tested the glass breaker at the junkyard it pebbled the glass with barely a tap, and the seat belt cutter works well if you make sure to pull the belt towards the blade for faster cutting I. I also advise sharpening the belt cutter just incase you need it quick.. You can buy a sharpener from the same page the smith one with the fold out conical sharpener also diamond, and carbide all in one., can't beat it for a emergency knife that you only need in emergency, but wouldn't carry for protection or daily use. Great value, and a very good product.
I was shocked by the value of this product. From the price alone, I had very low expectations for this knife, but decided to take a change and buy it all the same. I was happily surprised with the product I received. The knife came razor sharp, and had a nice weight to it. The metal is strong, on the blade and the handle. Beyond this, I thought the EMS logo would just be a decal, or a painted on sign, when it is a very well done design which blends in well with the rest of the knife. When opened, the knife is very easy to hold and manuver. The window breaker seems great, the belt cutter less so, but i bought this for mainly the knife and the window breaker, so I'm more than happy. While others may feel different, I love the orange color. I work in a public place, and having your knife handle be a bright color vs. my old black one, makes it seem much less threatening. Instead of a weapon, it has a color scheme of one of my hammers, and is as such seen as a tool by those who would ordinarily percieve it differently. My one gripe is how hard it is to open this knife with the assisted opening function, much harder than on my other knife. But due to the lack of a lock function, this helps to ensure your knife stays closed. While its not hard persay to open the knife, its not as easy on some other models. In conclusion, if you're looking for a good, multi-purpose knife that is ready for use right out of the box, you can't do better.

Functional knife
For my purposes, this is the perfect pocket knife. I now have 4. I have 11 acres with some livestock. The knife holds up well..... I have never broken one. It is easy to sharpen. And it is inexpensive......that means I don't worry if I misplace it. I just grab one of my spares and keep on going. Today I found one stuck in a post where I must have left it a few weeks ago. With my Buck, I would have hunted for hours until I found it. But then, I would never use my Buck to cut baling wire. This is not a high quality knife. But it is functional and good enough. That makes it perfect for me.

Love this knife, and carry it with me every day.
Love this knife, and carry it with me every day. The aluminium hilt looks and feels good in my hand, the blade is strong and sharp, the quick release mechanism is amazing! I haven't used the seat belt cutter in the back, but it looks like it would work fine. The small point on the bottom is good for breaking side window's. Overall, this is a very handy tool to have with me and could be critical in an emergency. I love the high tech look, and the price was very hard to beat; good purchase!

Great Opener....Rest is just EH
First of all, the knife was not very sharp right out of the box and the serration needed a little tuning as well, a little sharpening set it straight tough. Second, the white medical symbol was loose and not glued on well....a little super glue fixed that up. Third, the seat-belt cutter is totally useless, not sharp and wont even cut paper....I tried taking it apart to sharpen it but had to luck. Fourth, after playing with it for a couple of hours the blade became loose and wiggles side to side....haven't tried tightening up the screw yet, but will give it a try tomorrow and re-post. Five, the glass breaker is noticeably crooked. Six, yes, there is still more.....the orange cover is soft metal and cheap and dents/scratches easily if dropped...found that out the hard way. It is also a little lame graphically speaking, should have just left if without all the strange ridges. Seven, the knife blade has a weird disc on top which is hard to see in the pics, and can be used to open the knife...it just looks really goofy, they should have stuck with the little knobs on the side of blade or just left it off all-together since it is a spring assist. Eight...oh my god I can't believe I am still going, but this is a good thing....the spring assist is nice and fast. Nine, the knife is a bit heavy and a little bluky
