Upgrade to the decades of so-so food storage boxes I've had
I've got two of the 5-quart containers so far. I wanted to try them out before buying more. Note: you must purchase the lids separately - also available here on Amazon. I did a fair amount of research before landing on these (OK, my wife thinks I'm obsessive about product selection!). Glass containers are nice, but potentially fragile, heavy, thick walled, lower capacity than similar plastic ones; great for some folks - just not my preference. I've used polyethylene containers (like KitchenAid) for many years and they've been fine - I just wanted to move to something sturdier that wouldn't pick up odor. In the end, it came down to these Rubbermaid Commercial containers or very similar products from Cambro. They're incredibly close, and you'll find either one in commercial kitchens - for good reason. They're crystal clear - you can see right into them to see your food. Sizing is designed so you can easily stack them, and they're extremely sturdy. The 5-quart containers (and corresponding lids - don't forget to order these as well!) are a great size for me. Two of these will hold a 15 lb bag of Basmati rice split evenly between them. One of these will hold 5 lbs of flour, or 5 lbs of sugar: if you bake frequently it would be great to stack a few for different types of flour, white / brown / confectioners sugar. The lids are a snug fit and are clearly air-tight. I've used the two for rice for a few months now and am very happy with them. I'm placing an order for a few more today for flour and sugar. A bit pricey, but I expect to have these for many years to come.

Best Containers Ever
We are a family of 7 and buy flour, sugar, etc in bulk at Sam's Club and Costco. I decided a few years ago that I wanted to get containers to store it in to help better organize our pantry and I happened upon a pack of 2 of these while at Sam's Club. They were a fantastic price and they were absolutely perfect. They fit a lot of flour, sugar, etc in them and are so easy to get a measuring cup in and out of. The containers themselves are a great size for keeping on a shelf and easy to get on and off a shelf; while they're big they're not so big that they can't easily be handled. Aesthetically they're very pleasing and they definitely help with organization. Needless to say I loved them so much that I wanted to buy more, but when I went back they had sadly discontinued them. When I searched for them on Amazon at that time they were incredibly expensive so I couldn't buy more from here. But recently I got back around to trying to find them again and finally found them on Amazon for a great price. I ordered 2 more and was super pleased to find that they are the same quality and I love them just as much. I highly recommend these! A couple things to add- these are definitely air tight and leak proof. The lids can seem quite hard to get on at first, but I found that you get used to how to get them on all the way and it's definitely worth it to get that air tight, leak proof seal. Theses are incredibly durable and I expect that will last 10+ years. These are easy to clean.

Good measuring thing for many uses
These square containers just ended my round-container rebellion – pantry Tetris champion status unlocked! I used to live in denial. Round containers everywhere: rolling around like drunk marbles, wasting precious shelf real estate, mocking me every time I tried to Tetris leftovers into the fridge. “There’s gotta be space for one more Tupperware,” I’d whisper, only to watch the whole stack avalanche like a sad Jenga tower. My fridge looked like a war zone, and my soul was tired. Then these Rubbermaid Commercial Space Saving Square heroes showed up. Clear as crystal (literally—polycarbonate so tough it could survive a toddler’s tantrum), square so they nest and stack like obedient soldiers. Suddenly, my shelves went from “post-apocalyptic chaos” to “professional chef vibes.” They claim 25% more storage than rounds? Understatement. It’s like they hired a mathematician to optimize my life. Pros that deserve a Michelin star: • Square shape = actual space-saving sorcery. Fits way more in the same footprint—my fridge now holds enough meal prep to survive a zombie apocalypse (or just a busy week). • Crystal-clear so you can see exactly what’s inside without playing “mystery container roulette.” No more opening five lids to find the spaghetti sauce. • Built like tanks—dishwasher-safe, break-resistant, NSF-certified (fancy way of saying “restaurant-grade and won’t give you food poisoning vibes”). • Graduated measurements on the side because who has time for eyeballing portions? Not this aspiring home chef. • Bonus: They look so pro on the counter that guests think I’m fancy. “Oh, you meal prep in commercial containers?” Yes. Yes, I do. Cons? They don’t come pre-filled with gourmet meals or whisper motivational quotes while you portion chicken. But for the price (cheaper than therapy for my disorganized pantry), I’m not mad. If they did that, they’d probably cost as much as a small car. If your life is a round-container crime scene, or you’re just tired of playing fridge Jenga, grab a set of these bad boys NOW. Five stars feels stingy; I’d give 10 if Amazon allowed it. These aren’t just storage containers—they’re affordable peace, pantry efficiency, and a subtle flex on everyone still using circles. Your shelves (and your sanity) will thank you. 🥡📐

Great lidded baking container!
I love the size of the container, perfect for proofing bread/dough. I do wish the measurements were etched or raised instead of printed (or however the markings are attached). I've only used it a few times and the black markings are already starting to wear off. For my needs this issue isn't a big deal, but for some this may be an problem. *In case you didn't realize it - the lid is not included and will need to be purchased separately, but its not expensive.

Works well but not what I expected
Works well, but has an odd shape should be square but it’s more of a rectangle

Perfect storage for flour and food storage.
Love this container for my flour storage. Easy to use measuring cups to measure any amount of flour needed due to the size of the container. It does not leak and you can stack them for food storage. Please note, the lids are purchased separately for this container.

Great Product
I ordered this for making double batch of sourdough bread. Good quality and very durable. I would order again and have. Just remember to order a lid because it doesnt come with the lid.

No Lid
Does not come with a lid as shown in some of the pics nor does it disclose that it doesn't. You have to buy it for an addt $10 from some third party vendor. Kind of pointless.

Good size for baby bottle sterilisation while on the road
Quite expensive for just a plastic box, but v useful for proving bread and using as a chemical sterilisation vessel for baby bottles while travelling (takes four bottles).

Excellente contenedores

Robbermaid rocks!
Hard to find Rubbermaid in commercial grade. This item feels like nice quality and is plenty large enough for our sue vide cooker by Anova. Used several times now and it works just fine, stays clean and does not seem to be affected by the high water heat for several hours at a time.
