This is truly gentle tape.
I've reviewed this tape more than once, but I keep getting it from different sellers. Let me say that if you have to use a gentle tape that needs to be removed frequently, this tape is it. I generally use paper tape for wounds because I'm allergic to most adhesives. I use a CPAP and use this tape to tape my mouth shut. (this is not unusual) I was wearing a chin strap and the tape and then I said to myself, "Self, I'm tired of wearing all this stuff on my head", and tried just the tape and it works fine. Every once in awhile it will lose it's grip during the night and air will escape out of my mouth, but generally I wake up when a hurricane is blowing out of my mouth and reattach it. If instead, I get up to go to the bathroom after that I'll stick one end of it to my glass and it will dry out and re-adhere just fine after that. I wish it came in an inch and a half - an inch is just not wide enough to keep the air from escaping and 2 inches just covers too much face. I trim it every night. I suppose I could reuse a strip, Believe me, it is reusable, and I might try doing that since it was very expensive this time round, about $10 more than last time. Anyway, it's great stuff, I highly recommend it. I am uncertain why it is so ridiculously expensive, but it works much better for me than paper tape, so I keep buying it.

Great for use with CPAP machines
Works great for taping mouth shut while using nasal CPAP mask.

Use for sleep.
I was told by my dentist that he could tell by my gums that I am a nighttime mouth breather. He gave me literature and a roll of this tape. I don't know if I ordered the wrong size or if the just sent the wrong size but I'm making it work. I now tape my mouth shut before falling asleep. It took minute to get used to. This wide tape is pretty sticky so if you are sensitive, do what I do, I stick it to my sheet before I tape my mouth shut. This makes the tackiness less aggressive. It may sound strange but everyone should research mouth vs nose breathing. The benefits are astronomical.

Best tape for wound care
I have a wound that has to be dressed every day. This is the right tape for this job, itโs the same tape my clinic uses. Sticks well but can be removed without pain and leaves no residue.

Works great on clean skin with no oils or lotion
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great for what I use it for, which is for mouth tape for use with a CPAP machine (sleep apnea) to prevent mouth breathing. I think this solution is far cheaper than many of the "mouth tape" options that are available, and it works great; but there is a huge caveat: This tape will NOT stick well if there is ANY oil or lotion on your skin. So before use, you have to wash your skin with an aggressive cleaner like Dr. Bronner's castile soap (the best), then dry thoroughly, then apply the tape.

Tape works!
This tape adheres well to the skin without causing discomfort or having residue when removed. It does not require reinforcement to stay in place. It is like paper tape in feel and weight. It is not exactly โwaterproofโ, but it is resistant to moisture that gets on top of it. However, if the moisture gets under the edges it will loosen, as should be expected. If this happens simply remove it, dry the surrounding area and apply move to re-secure the dressing (provided the dressing is not wet).

No inflammation or irritation skin issues for me โฆbut my wife had significant skin reaction in
Iโve tried every tape I could find and this tape is the only one that my skin tolerates. I use these to secure lidoderm patches and other materials to skin. They do the job and last a day ..they are removed with little to no pain and donโt leave a sensitivity mark. However they are not perfect because my wife had a very significant skin reaction, almost like a latex allergy type skin reaction. So they work for me with little to no issues with regard to lesions, inflammation or redness, but thatโs not the case for everyone. I never would have guessed it would cause any king of irritation or inflammation if I didnโt see it myself on my wife . Suggest doing a test area before you use it.

Used for CPAP
I have very sensitive skin. I was afraid that this tape would exacerbate my eczema but it never harmed me. I used it to tape my jaw shut and it did the trick until I found a better chin strap. My only complaint is that itโs outrageously expensive

I used the item to tape my mouth when using a CPAP machine. The silicone tape is an excellent choice vs a paper one

The product showed up with really poor packaging and the products were all broken out the box. This is hygienic material that should be packaged better. Very disappointing!
