1.5 tog Microfibre Duvet Quilted Hollowfibre Fill Bound Edge Anti-Allergy Summer Lightweight or Layering for Additional Warmth for Autumn Winter (Double)

The duvet is very nicely made with a very light smooth microfibre cover and pretty stitching. It is perfect for hot rooms and hot weather. Heat wise, it is slightly warmer than a thin fleece blanket. I could not decide between 2.5 and 1.5, but I feel I made the right choice. This is about 0.5 cm thick with bound edges ( very soft and drapable). Obviously if you squeeze the duvet it flattens right down to 0.2cms. One thing I will say, this can be laundered in a domestic washing machine and would probably dry very quick. As I suffer from allergies this is a huge advantage. Last year I had a 4.5 tog summer duvet that was even hotter than my winter duvet full of down. It was uselessly hot. I live in a first floor flat of a newish building and the bedroom has a large window and is very well insulated. I have been getting very hot and this is so bad for me, as I have fibromyalgia and colitis. The colitis medications mean I get very hot. I am flagging this up because people who are ill or disabled need advice on bedding sooo much. This would not crush you in bed,It is very very light. Its nicely made. No, the edges aren't sharp as someone said. They are very soft, and rounded. You don't need a cover, but I put one on for hygiene. I am really hopeful this pretty duvet will provide the answer to my overheating problem. Incidentally, it is labelled Jackson and Co NOT Snugglemore. I think they are the same though?

I have to say I have been very impressed with this product. It is quite thin and although it looks like it will hardly keep you warm, it actually does a very good job. I wanted a duvet for Summer that was lighter than our existing 4.5 tog. This 1.5 woks well, my partner finds it much better as she suffers terribly from being hot and at the same time it keeps me warm. The quality looks and feels good with stitching throughout the duvet being sound. There is a slight curve around the corners of the duvet which another buyer has commented on but its slight and doe not leave big gaps in the corners which I was half expecting.

This is exactly what we've been after. We naturally have a warm house and the windows are always open no matter what temperature it is. We've been after a TOG rating that isn't too hot and this ticks the box. Its microfibre and is very light however the quality appears very good. First night with it on the bed (28/01/21) and it did the trick. A very comfortable sleep without waking up to throw the quilt off! :)

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this, as a lot of these things have feedback saying they're 'no lighter than a standard summer duvet', but it has been great. Compared to my old 4.5 TOG 'summer' duvet, which weighs around 4.5 kg, this weighs around 1.5kg or less (not easy to weigh and my scales (digital) may not be very accurate at this weight). On really warm nights, it's still too warm and I resort to just a duver cover, but I have been using this for a couple of months now and it has been great. Like all duvets, it is great at the right temperature and for cooler nights, you'll need to add an extra layer, but it's still a lot more convenient than overheating constantly, or forever switching duvets. This is a great addition to my bedding options, i'm very pleased with it; This was a genuine purchase - I'm not trying to sell this!

I needed a lightweight duvet that I can fit in my washing machine as my very elderly dog had started to have little accidents occasionally while sleeping on the end of the bed and despite putting an absorbent mat down for him he had somehow managed to roll off that and onto my duvet. This is super thin, soft and light but still cosy and most importantly I can pop it in the washing machine and it comes out almost dry once it's been spun. Am going to buy another soon to layer up on the bed once the weather gets colder instead of having one thick duvet that I can't wash if I need to. Very happy customer 😊

I bought this ages ago, but only just put it on the bed as I live in Cyprus where a sheet is all you need to sleep under in summer. Now that it’s going cooler at night, I unpacked the duvet, and was delighted with the obvious quality of this item. It’s actually quite warm, even though it’s wafer thin, and drapes very nicely. I did put it into a cover, but as other reviewers have noted, it’s not really necessary.

Exactly what we wanted. This Super King size duvet is a generous size and fitted sideways in our Empress Size duvet cover. I thought I would have to extend the edges but it wasn`t necessary. It is thin and light and ideal for when just a sheet isn`t enough, but a 4.5 tog is too hot. I would not be worried about overloading my washing machine with this one. The stitching is good and the edges are nicely bound with a fabric tape. The fabric is smooth and soft and not that crackly paper type stuff. Very pleased with purchase.

Orded this blanket as getting to hot at night worked 100% and my parter who over heats with a normal tog blanket is keepin cooler an Says its comfy an lightweight to keep him comfortable at night an not over sweat deffo worth a buy i have Sensory issues an its so soft to touch great quality material drys fast and easy wash care an brilliant size see pics attached
