With your navigator, search the seas for money, upgrades, and maritime encounters. Collect equipment and new submarines by defeating opponents. Gain experience in the mission mode. Receive extra cash in the training mode. You can also link against a friend and play for keeps in the interactive battle mode. Splash into Dive Alert, where the aquatic adventure of a lifetime awaits. Two versions of the game feature different submarines--Matt captains the subs in this version, while Becky's the star of the other version.

submarine battles done right
i give this game a 4 out of 5. The score is mainly from game play and replay ability.The music and sound effects are okay.the visuals are very simple, but get the job done.the game is fun, and the battles can get challenging.my copy had issues starting at 1st, but seems to be working OK now.i recommend this game if you still have a Neo Geo pocket, or just collecting.

The best RPG (if it can be called that) for the NGPC
SummaryOk, first of all, this game IS part RPG. Granted, it is a submarine sim at heart, but most of its elements are RPG elements. It is a great game, the best submarine sim you will probably ever find, and one of the best games on the NGPC.Gameplay/Graphics 4/5There have been many complaints with the gameplay and graphics. The thing is, the graphics are very good. The sonar screen LOOKS like a sonar screen. You have to realize that this is the only thing the actual character in the game has to look at to steer, so it should be the only thing you have to look at. I would have put some hands on the controls to either side of the sonar screen to make it seem more realistic, but hey, its a handheld game. To compensate for the sonar screen, Sacnoth has given us beautiful still cutscenes to flege out the story, but again people didn't like this because they were too long. People are never happy -_-. I personally like a lot of story in my game, but thats me.Sound 5/5The music is amazing in this game. It is the best i have ever seen on a handheld. The music even stops at dramatic points in the game. over all the sound is amazing.overall 4/5If you can find this game for under 15.00 get it. If you arent sure, do your research on it first, then make your decision. If you are looking for a very unique title(not to mention developed by former Squaresoft employees) seek this one out.
