Love this jump rope! REVIEW WORTH READING!
It came quickly with prime shipping. It came with a carrying pouch to bring anywhere & easy storage. It also came with a booklet as a bonus. I did 800 (50x16) jumps the first day I got it. Could barely walk for 2 days. My calves were so tight & worked! Do your stretches ladies & gents! If you looking to loose weight or tone up & enjoy jump rope, this is the product for you! Jump rope is better for you than swimmimg, running or jogging. It is a low impact cardio workout. Strengthens your bones, burns fat, healthy for the heart & science proves jump rope makes you smarter! Who would've guessed? You can easily adjust the length (one time only, since you have to cut it to size) on the end of the handles you can screw off the tops, pull the rope thru & tie a knot for your length, then cut off the excess & screw the top back on & your ready to jump! SOME JUMP ROPE TIPS! *Regular jump rope, your feet should only come an inch or two off the ground (No need jumping three feet in the air unless your a pro doing tricks) *When jumping keep elbows a bit away from the body. (Not touching your sides) *Let your wrists do the work! *If performing barefoot, use a pad or some kind of cushion for landing until you build up strength. *It's better to have a jump rope a little too long, than too short *Most importantly, have fun! If you are familiar on YouTube, look up "The Jump Rope Dudes* They will provide you with tons of FREE advice & workouts. Do your research, jump rope is SO GOOD FOR YOUR HEART, BODY & MIND! I jump rope on all my cardio days, about 3 days a week & I love it! This jump rope is greatly priced & I love the foam handles, great grip when your getting your sweat on! Excellent Product and Product Support
I ordered this jump rope and was impressed initially by the ease of adjustment and comfortable grips. Upon initial use everything was fine. However, it soon began twisting horribly while I jumped to the point the rope would bind up until I could no longer jump and I'd have to stop and untwist the rope. Making sure I followed the directions to the T and realizing that jump rope was not all that complicated I figured it must be some kind of mechanical error with the bearings. I checked the bearings but they rotated freely as they should. I looked down the inside of one of the handles and saw a plastic protrusion near the bearing which was no doubt causing the tag end of the rope to hang up. This was no big deal to me as I have worked in manufacturing before and know that occasionally these things happen. I contacted the seller and told them the problem. They were extremely quick to replace the item and were very courteous and professional the whole time. My new product works great and I have had zero issues with it for a few weeks now. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in an affordable high quality adjustable jump rope!

Good rope to start learning rope skipping
I am a 'senior' and have decided to learn how to skip. It is not easy and I have been patient with myself but over the course of about 4 to 6 weeks have learnt to skip for a while without the rope tripping on my feet or hitting me in the back of my head. It is a really good aerobic workout, and I believe it is good for strengthening feet and toes. It may be my imagination but since I started skipping I have less pains in my feet. If you are not 'senior' yet, you may not understand the concept! This rope is good, and easy to use and fairly easy to adjust. It does seem to get tangled up or wound up after about 50 or 60 reps. 60 reps may sound little to you, but do it and see how it goes :-)

Good rope and great company
I bought this mainly for my kids, thinking that as they grow it can be made longer. Well, the design is great but the problem is the material of the "rope". Not that the material is cheap or anything, it does feel very solid. The problem is may be its "too solid". When you will eventually miss after jumping for sometime, the rope make contact with your leg or any of your body part and you literally feel "whipped". I did not believe it when my kids first told me until I tried it myself. It felt great at first & you get into a rhythm. Then "whipped", you miss it and it hurts like hell. I did not have a problem with other more cheap jump rope, just the size are more for adults & other kids one has very cheap handle. I was so hoping that this will work but now just sitting there. No one wants to get "whipped". Update (10/22/2015) - The company contacted me immediately after my initial review. They apologized and informed me that they have changed the rope to a softer material (for other reason). They offered to send me a new one for me to try. The new rope arrived within a few days. I noticed immediately the material is a lot more softer and seems to have the same good quality. The new material made the rope a little lighter, which may be a preference for some but not others. I personally have no issue with it. I tried jumping with the rope and when the rope make contact with the body, its a lot better. You feel a little more than... nylon material but no more "whipping" effect, at least at the speed that I jump. Then I let my kids try it (the ultimate test) and they immediately gave me a thumbs up. Its been about 4-5 days now and the kids are using it every day without complain. So I am happy. Thank you for the great customer service.

You get what you pay for, and I wish I had paid a bit more
I bought this product for working out during the COVID pandemic, when my regular sporting activities are on hold. This is a decent enough rope for casual skipping, but is not suitable for serious exercise. I now wish I had spent a bit more and gotten a better rope. I would not buy this again. I deducted one star each for the following: 1. The rope is light and floppy, there is no stiff core like some other skipping ropes. As a result, it doesn't hold a nice catenary shape while skipping. It flops from side to side, enough to upset your rhythm if you're skipping fast with a shorter rope, which is common for exercise. This is also why the rope in its resting state can have a few twists (see picture). 2. This rope stretches. Intially I adjusted the length, then skipped for a couple of weeks, and realized that it had lengthened by several inches! So I cut four more inches off, skipped for a week, and now it seems like it's still stretched by another inch or two. This is probably because the rope has no stiff core to hold the length. It's good enough for casual skipping in picnics, but I cannot recommend this for working out.

Outstanding quality jump rope for all ages!
My 7 y/o son takes boxing lessons and part of the warm-up routine is jumping rope. He loves it and has been begging for us to get him his own so that he can jump rope at home. Like everything else, I do a lot of research prior to making any purchase. First thing I wanted was to make certain that I was getting a quality product. Not a toy. I also wanted to make sure that the handles weren't too long so that he could comfortably hold the rope in his hands. And finally I wanted a rope that I could (hopefully) adjust without having to cut. Because once the rope is cut, there's no going back. Judging by what I was seeing in the photos, this was looking like the rope for us. And I was right. These handles are the PERFECT size for his small hands, and they are very comfortable to hold. The material used to make the rope seems sturdy and should hold up to normal usage fairly well. Most importantly though, I was able to adjust the rope to his height and then shove the remaining rope inside the handles. This way we can continue to extend the rope as he grows! LOVE IT!

Smooth Motion - Light Weight - Comfortable Grips - Easy Length Adjustment
I would recommend this product to anyone. The very time I used the Fitness Factor Speed Jump Rope I knew it was a good product. It's real smooth in motion, light weight, easy to grip and easy to adjust. I think the Fitness Factor Speed Jump Rope will last a long time mainly because of it's smooth motion and light weight. With that being said and having it adjusted to your correct height it doesn't hit the ground so hard which may help it last longer than a poorly designed jump rope. I have used jump ropes as part of a routine over the years and after using the Fitness Factor Speed Jump Rope I now realize the jump ropes I used in the past were to heavy with awkward grips, difficult to adjust, to skinny making it to fast or drag motion making jump rope exercising to hard. I will use Fitness Factor Speed Jump Rope to run and jump at the same time.

Rope is great, but does not come with coordination
The rope is great. It's plenty long enough and was very easy to shorten. It came with a carrying bag. I'm quite sure that I will never take this jump rope out in public so I'll find another use for the bag. The "instructions" pointed me to YouTube videos on how to jump rope. I was sure I didn't need to go online to jump a rope. I spent many a day as a child jumping rope, so watching videos seemed ridiculous. I took my rope into the empty basement and set out to get some exercise. What I got was two really bruiised up legs. Those childhood days were more than 40 years ago and apparently isn't a retained skill. I whipped myself a hundred times, tripped and fell twice, and had sore ankles from the jumping. A week later I can now jump for a short period of time although it's really not a pretty sight. But dang, it's a good workout!
