Coolibar Beach Shawl - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Sanibel

I've been eying this for a while and finally spoiled myself before my recent cruise. It's really nice to have. Sure, you can block sun with a towel, but this lightweight shawl/scarf works for a lot more than that. I used it as a travel scarf and blanket on my flights, too. The lightweight quality made it easy to wash in the tub to get all the airplane germs off, and it dried quickly for use on my vacation. I draped it over my little packable sun shade to add more protection from the sides, and it worked great for that. It also served as a blanket when the breeze was chilly. So it's got a lot of functionality for a strip of fabric, basically. It's soft, too.

Easy to pack, lightweight and comfortable on the skin

I take this with me everywhere. Great feel. Great color to blend well with whatever you are wearing. Versatile to place where the sun is hitting you when sitting outside and moving from car to building.

Not a winter shawl it's made of breathable cotton. Large in size but was able to roll it up to fit it into my handbag. To be fair I do use large handbags as a mom with young child. I chose the gray striped one. It's a heather gray so very easy to use with different bright spring and soft spring colors. Well made, I expect it to last. It's large in size so I can wrap it over my shoulders or bring it up over my head and still cover/wrap it. As a photosensitive person I also keep a skirt style hanger in the car with it in there so it stays nicely wrinkle free & easy to grab on the go if I'm out in higher UV levels than I anticipated. Great alternative to slathering on sunblock religiously. It's a stretchy fabric too so it doesn't feel stiff at all. The stretch gives it movement.

I used this shawl all around Disney World. It was great in the parks to keep the sun off my neck and shoulders while standing in lines. I could use it to mop up sweat, give myself cover, have a little cushion to sit on, or just pack it away when I didn't need it. It folds up pretty small despite how large it is. It's pretty soft and was comfortable to wear. It does get a bit wrinkly but wasn't super noticeable. It's not only great in the heat! It was really nice going from the heat outside to indoors with the air conditioning. I would get cold and could take out this shawl to cover up my arms or legs. It was also nice when I had to work because I could wear a tank top dress outside in the heat and then cover up to look more professional when needed.

Super soft and light, lots of coverage. Can't wait to take it to the beach.

I need a scarf with a higher SPF. This is lightweight and versatile. It’s great in the warmer weather it’s great for sun protection.

This wrap is perfect for a trip to the beach, airplane or afternoon out. I felt confident that I was nicely protected from the sun when I used the wrap. I will likely buy more colours. They’ll also make great gifts for travellers, sport enthusiasts and anyone else looking for some sun protection and coverage.

Love the feel of this scarf. Its not slippy like a lot of others. Very classy look but can be used for casual or dressed up. Good size and drapes well.
