Brilliant, keeps my dog occupied for 30 minutes
I purchased the LickiMat Tuff in both the 'Soother' and 'Playdate' variants along with the 'Indoor Keeper' that you can sit these trays in to stop them slipping around. The product is such a great idea and I wish I had found it sooner! It keeps my Cocker Spaniel occupied for around 30 minutes and is stimulating for his busy mind. The mats seem to be great quality and work perfectly. I use it with yoghurt, peanut butter and berries. Of the two variants I tried, the 'Soother' is definitely my favourite - it keeps my dog occupied for longer and is easy to clean. Both wash perfectly in the dishwasher - the 'Soother' is easy to wash in the sink with a washing-up brush but I find that it is difficult to clean the 'Playdate' version in the sink and no matter how well I scrub it I always find bits missed once it has dried. I've not actually used the 'Indoor Keeper' as I've not needed it, I place the LickiMat on a textile feeding mat already on my kitchen floor and it does not move around at all. I feel that using the 'Indoor Keeper' as well would mean that this would be a second item to be washed-up after use so it just seems unnecessary. Plenty of potential food items to try, this has become part of my dog's daily routine and he loves it! Such a brilliant design and well worth the money for the quality.

Game changer
Love love love these for my puppy. Keeps her entertained when I need 5 minute or when I have stuff I need to do when I get home from work. I will set this up with different food types and it will extend her dinner time. Would buy a million times over.

A durable lickimat for a chewer
I absolutely love this lickimat for my dog as he is a bit of a serial chewer. He has managed to chew bits off the normal lickimats but this is a lot more sturdy and durable, the material is tough. It’s much better quality. The only downside is that it takes a little while to clean as you can’t bend it in the same way as the normal lickimats. Best to put it in the sink with some hot water on top to let it soak into the corners. I then use an old toothbrush to get whatever is left out. Highly recommend this though. My dog always get so excited when he sees it coming.

Good.
Good. Tough. Dog can and will still chew it, but desires a much smaller part.

Dog loves it
It's absolutely perfect for crate training. Slows down those little enticement feeds well without puppy ripping up blankets to get to an elusive bit of food. Giving a small amount of food to make certain areas an attractive place to be and slowing the gobbling it up process down works really well with kibble. Not really using pate etc yet as puppy's tummy is not something I want to experiment with just now until well housetrained. Can't see any reason why that also wouldn't work as a settler in crate use. No sign of chewing as it lies so flat puppy can't pick it up. Not seen any sign of wanting to gnaw the tray itself. It's all about getting that food. Definitely a good option vs a floor scatter as far less likely for food to ping into a corner that then is destroyed. Very easy to wash and it goes in your plate rack of your dishwasher very easily.

Lucky mat, hard backed.
Have had this licky mat for quite a while now. Still going strong. Dog loves it with peanut butter or cream cheese. The hard back means the dog doesn’t chew it to bits too.

Does the job!
It’s durable and sturdy, not cheap and flimsy. It’s dishwasher proof (though maybe not at a high temperature as some of it has melted a little bit!) but it does the job and keeps my dog occupied while I’m away at work

Great for slowing them down - don't use when you're not there to supervise!
Please note: The item I was sent wasn't the design as above (which I had been epecting). Most of the review applies to both designs though. I have had the design as per the picture before too. These mats are great to keep at keeping my dogs busy with a peanut butter snack after tea. I haven't tried them with their usual food as they're on raw which would be a bit odd! One of the advantages of these over say a Kong toy is the ease of cleaning as you can see exactly what's left on the mat. Saying that, though, a Kong is virtually indestructible and these definitely are not. The advice suggests they are great for dogs who get bored when left but if I left either of mine with one of these for longer than it takes to lick it clean, the mat would be history and there would be strange coloured bits of plastic in their poo the following day. I have two large (25kg) dogs who love to chew so I pick the mats up when they are finished. There are chew marks around the edge of one after just a couple of weeks and my previous ones lasted a few months before being chewed to a very small piece!

It works well for puppies but as they get older and smart. Mine didnt bother after a while. I only use them for freezing dog snacks that keeps them busy for a long period of time.

I bought one of these along with the less complex square one. This one in particular was bought for my fast eater and instantly wonder why I haven't done this before. I've tried the standard complex bowl type to slow her down but she still managed to scoff her daily serve down in half the time of her bigger sibling. Serving her diet of raw meal on this has halved her pace and she really seems to enjoy the complexity. I am impressed. Buy these, even if they're just for treats. I can honestly recommend them.

J'ai une chienne de 20 semaines et elle arrive à tout détruire mais elle se comporte bien avec son Lickmat - utile pour des chiens qui mangent trop vite ou pour un petit cadeau pour le toutou
