Pumie TBR Scouring Stick (Pack of 2)

This was extremely effective removing long-setting stains on two toilets. Takes some “elbow grease,” but it works a charm.

I am honestly amazed by this little stick! As an OCD cleaner I was a little distraught to find after moving into our new house that the stains around the toilet would not come out. I scrubbed and scrubbed and made progress but there was still a line. Enough to notice but not necessarily an obvious stain so I would get a little embarrassed any time someone new would come to the house as it always looks like my toilets just haven’t been cleaned. I had finally come to terms with the fact that they would forever be MOSTLY clean. Then I found this and decided to give it a try. Magic! The lines disappeared! I started out carefully after seeing a couple people mention scratching and didn’t have any problems with the first toilet, so I got more vigorous on the second and afterwards I noticed a small part that looked like it may have scratched slightly (but it may have been there before from one of my previous scrubbing attempts and I didn’t notice it?) And it was very small so if that’s the price I had to pay I’d still call it worth it. Then things got a little out of hand as I excitedly began scouring my house thinking of new things to try it on. (Yes, cross contamination entered my mind but I had already vigorously cleaned the toilets and did additional cleaning after my experimentation so I didn’t really care). If it did that well on the toilet what about my sinks?! And after the sinks a new idea entered my mind.... the big kahuna, the bane of my cleaning existence, the ever orange bathtub. I started that scrubbing process with low expectations, even after seeing the magical transformations from my previous projects as I have had little luck with all other attempts at making a dent in the cleaning of this tub. I scrubbed until my stick was completely gone before rinsing to see the results. I was SHOCKED! I had started to convince myself that the lines at the bottom of the tub were supposed to be a different color and I would never get the stain out of the sides! It looks like we got a new tub! The comparison made more dramatic by the fact I was only able to get half the tub done before my stick was gone since I had already used a lot of it before starting this project. Yes I wish the stick lasted longer as it does dissolve rather quickly when wet (while it’s not required to drain the water in the toilet I would highly recommend doing so and at least lower the water level enough to scrub without fully submersing the stick, it will last much longer if you wet it sparingly). So considering the fact that it made all my toilets, sink faucets, and tub look good as new I found the price to be worth it and will be ordering another to finish scrubbing my tub.

This think took build up (limescale etc) off the toilet that I didn't think could be taken off. I really thought I'd have to replace the toilet. This thing worked so easily and we'll that I felt stupid afterwards. And no damage to the porcelain.

This product REALLY works. Removed several years’ worth of stains that household cleaners and toilet scrubbers never could. That being said, I wish the handle was a little longer so you didn’t have to stick your hand so far in for deep stains, and that they sold a version where the stone had some curvature to it. My stains weren’t around the rim; they were deep in the basin where the water pools (but were still highly visible), so it was hard to get at them with this design. I had to wait until the pumice was whittled down from its square shape. It took some serious scrubbing. I wasn’t able to get at everything because I could not get in the crevices. However, it removed everything that it could reach. Truly a miraculous product!

Incredible! My toilet had years of build up (thanks Previous Owners!) that I was starting to think we were going to need to replace it due to its unsightliness and nothing I’d tried before working. This magical stick did the trick in 2 minutes. I can’t believe how easy it was and how great it works! I’d be bragging to all my friends about this if I weren’t so embarrassed about how the toilet used to look!! Before and after photos for proof…

After researching on Google about why I couldn't get the stains...get this...from those stupid blue bowl cleaners out, I found some reviews on this. This stone is the ,"Magic Eraser" for toilets. Doesn't scratch porcelain, and ..it's just amazing. Highly recommend.

After the plumber used a "snake" to get rid of the plug in our new toilet there were left brown stains in the bottom of the bowl. I tried all kinds of ways to clean the bowl to try to get rid of the stains. After later reading online about using a pumice stone I purchased this product. We had to repeatedly clean using the pumice stone but finally got rid of the stains. Now use this pumice stone to clean the rim of the toilet bowl.

Gets rid of persistent stains on your toilet bowl. Read the instructions properly to make sure you do not damage the porcelain surface of your toilet bowl. You need to make sure the stone is has taken on plenty of water before you scrub, this will keep the abrasive force to a minimum. Yes the stone will wear easier, but that is the whole point of reducing abrasive force (Don't worry about it wearing quickly, you won't need to use it again for awhile). If you scrape the porcelain surface of the toilet bowl too much, you will make it easier for stains to stick, and they will become even tougher to remove. When used properly the Pumie stone effectively removes the tough stains, and there is no need to use it over and over. I used it properly just once, and ever since then the toilet brush easily gets rid of all the stains that build up afterwards. Have not had to use the Pumie again since purchasing it. This is a real 5/5 star product. I would give it 6/5 stars if I could.

Works very well. Like others said the stone does wear down but this is normal. It can be used several times over and over before you have to purchase a new one. It does an excellent job of taking away the hard water stains making the bathtub and toilet like brand new. Highly recommend!

Doesn't really work at all.
