Excellent, huge improvement on glass/plastic
After one too many accidents with glass/plastic ones I wanted metal. Liked the look of them, they are indeed very ergonomic. Robust, and they come with two spare filters. The double skin build certainly keep the coffee hotter. I dismantle the filter assembly after every use for better cleaning, you need to make sure everything is screwed up tight again afterwards. There was something in the instructions about only using coarse ground coffee (I think it said, before I threw it away) but it works perfectly with your normal bags of filtered coffee. Excellent, delighted.

Excellent French Press
This French press makes excellent coffee everytime. If required the insulation maintains the temperature of the coffee. We bought the 1.5 litre press, the markings go to the very top of the jug, so in practical terms it holds 1.3 litres of liquid, with enough room for the lid to sit on top. It will make us a large mug of coffee each. I like stainless steel and the neat, sleek shape of the press. It looks good on the breakfast table. It's very easy to disassemble for cleaning and will go in the dishwasher. I've had the press for 18 months and it still looks good. I use it everyday.

Hopefully unbreakable!
Great cafetiere! Had a glass one before which my husband managed to smash so I bought this one which is extremely strong! Makes an average sized mug of coffee.

Brilliant, but smaller capacity than stated !
Generally I like this cafetiere very much, the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the capacity is not as stated. I bought the 1.5L 12 cup version expecting to be able to make 1.5L of coffee, not a reasonable assumption you would of thought. Alas the capacity may be 1.5L when brimmed to the point just before water comes out of spout (I checked it), but usable it is really 1125ml. (Or perhaps 1250ml if filled to the level the lid can still just go on without overflowing, but this risks overflowing hot coffee if you are not very careful.) One of the pictures shows an arrow on the lid (to turn the lid to when pouring), this cafetiere does not have this, but this is not such a big deal in practice. You can see when looking through the pouring spout where to turn it. The lid is not a tight seal, so it still pours if you don't turn it, just not as quickly. I have had it about a week now and and otherwise I find the cafetiere is brilliant. It looks to be well made with a good polished finish. I find it far easier to clean then my old glass one. Heat retention wise I tested it. With the pot starting at room temperature (19 deg C), I filled it with 1125ml of boiling water and measured the temperature over the next few hours. Time - Temp (deg C) 1 min - 93.7 30 mins - 87.1 1 hour - 78.4 2 hour - 66.7 3 hour - 58.7 6 hour - 42.7 Touching the cafetiere once the coffee has been in it for a while, it is clear the temperature is hotter at the top of the pot than the bottom. I conclude the vacuum is doing its job (it also sounds as I would expect when tapping the pot if there was a vacuum between the inner and outer wall). I cant say this about the lid though. It seems to me the lid may not have a vacuum. The lid is sealed though, submerging it when cleaning it there is no evidence of any water ingress. Hope this is of help. Enjoy your brew ...

Lovely small cafetière ☕
This is not only a beautiful looking cafetière, it's also very practical. I love fresh coffee in the mornings and this is the perfect size for a single mug. Being stainless steel it's not going to shatter if the cat knocks it off the worktop (blaming the cat instead of my clumsiness!) and being double-walled I'm hoping it will keep warm if I'm delayed in pouring it – though be aware that this is not advertised as a vacuum/insulated flask so don't expect it to act as one. It certainly means that the walls aren't hot to handle after pouring in the hot water from the kettle, a bonus that I won't burn myself touching it. It makes nice coffee and once depressed the filter holds the grounds in place so they don't end up in the cup. It pours easily and, as you can see in my video, has a non-drip spout. I definitely prefer this one to my traditional glass cafetière, both ease of use and good looks! It's very simple to clean, just empty the grinds, rinse out the loose bits and pop it in the dishwasher. It also comes with spare filter screens, adding to its longevity. Coffee grounds can be disposed of in food recycling or composting, and are great as soil drainage, especially when used in soil for plant pots. They also make a good abrasive scourer for cleaning :)

So....
.... It does what you'd expect it to do. Slight confusion though, external box says dishwasher safe, internal instructions suggest not 🤐 Feels and looks decent quality and makes a decent coffee.

Unbreakable - make great coffee
After breaking yet another glass cafetiere, I decided to try this metal one, and I'm pleased that I did. This one is suitable for making a single mug of coffee. The pot and top are fairly well insulated so the coffee remains hot for about 10 minutes. The filter unscrews into three separate components for easy cleaning, and some spare mesh filters are included in the box, in the unlikely event that you damage one. Another nice touch is the arrow head on the lid which you line up with the spout when pouring. The whole thing is bright and attractive to look at. It's also unbreakable!

Highly recommend
Looks really lovely. Stainless steel insulated to keep coffee really hot. Only downside is that you obviously can’t see the level without taking out the press, but this is more than compensated for by the fact of its being practically unbreakable, unlike the glass ones which we have had to replace countless times over the years. We’ll gradually replace those we have with this.
