I am a Bosch fan. Mostly because I like the logo and blue. So I waste a lot of money stupidly on Bosch stuff. I’ve wanted these for a while. At the same time, I have become very curious about Knipex. Everyone has been telling me they’re amazing. So, being bored, needing new tools, and having the cash laying around, I ordered this and the equivalent Knipex for roughly $12 more. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001094GLY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5ZZQ51MQEPQ4F9BKFH2C?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 The Bosch definitely look sexy. But, they work difficult and have defects. Rust was coming out of one of them - I sprayed silicone lubricant on needle nose pliers - A LOT - and it still works unreliably (doesn’t open all the way and gets stuck). Upon examination, it might have to do with the shape of the metal parts not being perfect fits. The Bosch are made in China and, while I usually balk at that criticism, it’s real. Meanwhile, the Knipex worked great out of the box. They feel great. They have no cheap feel. They’re made in Germany. So for $12 more, I recommend getting the Knipex instead. Or for a lot less, buy a similar product from China and skip the middle-man. You’re paying for the Bosch name here.

Wygląda na solidne i na tą chwilę (po ok. roku użytkowania) nic się nie uszkodziło i nie połamało.

Uso queste pinze quotidianamente come elettricista professionista e anche per lavori di fai da te generici, quindi posso valutarle in contesti molto diversi tra loro. La prima cosa che si nota appena si prendono in mano è la solidità: la fattura è eccellente, si percepisce subito che i materiali sono di qualità. Le articolazioni scorrono in modo fluido e preciso, senza giochi o imprecisioni — dettaglio tutt'altro che scontato in un set di questa fascia di prezzo. L'accoppiamento tra le parti è curato e regolare su tutti e tre gli attrezzi. In uso professionale si comportano esattamente come ci si aspetta: la pinza combinata, quella a becco e la cesoia lavorano bene su cavi, fili e componenti elettrici di ogni tipo. Le impugnature gommate offrono una presa sicura anche durante lavori prolungati. L'unica incognita che mi riservo riguarda la resistenza alla ruggine nel lungo periodo: il set che sostituisco (marca USAG) ha mostrato ossidazione superficiale dopo poco utilizzo, pur non essendo mai stato esposto ad umidità o acqua. Speriamo che il trattamento superficiale dell'acciaio al cromo vanadio di queste Bosch regga meglio nel tempo — aggiornerò la recensione se dovessero emergere problemi in questo senso. Per ora, 5 stelle meritate.
