Extremely Impressive
Worth every cent. This little booklet is actually really small and fits in the palm of your hand, but boy does it cover a lot of topics. It's pretty comfortable to hold and lightweight, and covers many different scenarios. It even has a little section for surviving immediate danger like an active shooter, and has a couple of massive sections for food, water, shelter, and fire. I've learned a lot from this book and I will be carrying it with me everywhere I go, and I recommend you do the same because you never know what can happen. This little booklet could save your life, and does its job well. If it was necessary, I'd buy it again, but of course you only need one. Great value for the price too.

Perfect portable reference
Living in wildfire & earthquake country I’m starting to gather items for emergency preparedness. A serious consideration is size. A great product doesn’t help if you can’t carry it in your GoBag. These two are so small I carry the 1st aid version in my purse daily. Knowledge is power.

Good, but not waterproof.
Fits perfectly into a Ridge wallet, so it's perfectly credit card sized. My only complaint is that the paper isn't waterproof. Definitely could use a wax coating.

Accurate and Convenient to carry
As a former US Marine Infantrymen, current BSA Scout Master, and Primitive Skills Instructor I would highly recommend this Tiny Survival Guide. All of the information is accurate and are things I have been taught and/or currently instruct in my Primitive Skills course's. For myself none of this information is new but for 98% of the population at least some of it will be. Even if you are someone like myself who knows all of this information by heart, this is still something you’d want to carry for your friends, family, or some person who might find you if you ever got injured. Not to mention if you have never been in an emergency situation with serious injury or life being at risk you would be surprised on how fast people become incompetent. The fight, flight, or freeze response is different for everyone and rarely beneficial. Years of professional training can fly right out the door once adrenaline and panic set in and many people would struggle to even remember their middle name.

Pretty Good
These are like the crib notes of survival. There is lots of info. Much of it is common sense but also helpful hints. In the end, I think it’s better to have “common sense” on hand because it can fly out of the head in times of stress. Also, such survival information can lend a sense of security in addition to providing reading material that is informative, can halt silly stress arguments, and can occupy the mind to reduce the stress of waiting periods. It would be great if these were waterproof and stronger, but I think that’s asking a lot. If I decide to include these in the go bags I’m gifting, I have found small dry containers with lanyards that will contain them. Overall, I find them expensive but also to have value.

Compact, well-designed asset for preparedness
Don't let the one-star comments put you off this guide. Complaints that this is not a book miss the point; complaints that all the information is available elsewhere either in greater detail or for ”free” also miss the point. The point of this guide is to have the best amount of information in the smallest possible size to make it easy to have WITH YOU at all times. And, I believe this guide fits that description perfectly. There are 72 panels of information on this guide, each roughly equivalent to a page of a book. Yes the type is small, but the author's description of its readability is, for me at least, pretty accurate - and I'm no spring chicken :-). Yes, I have to hold it rather close to read it, but that is more than compensated for by how much info is there. The ”paper” it is printed on is somewhere between regular paper and that untearable stuff (Tyvek) that certain post office envelopes are made of and looks ready to handle tough conditions. I am sure that anyone looking for maximum info in minimum space in a durable format will find this a useful addition to their gear. One for my purse, which goes everywhere with me in civilization, and one for my belt pack, which goes everywhere with me away from civilization, and I feel ready with all the info I need to tackle any unforseen emergency.
