Great fit excellent quality.

Most comfortable pants I have worn. Light-weight and breathable100% cotton (no elastane) jeans, ykk brass zipper, metal studs at pockets. Great quality and price! I bought one pair then three more! Don't ever change them Wrangler!

Forget Levis, forget Lees. Forget department/fashion stores. If you want real jeans, with real heft that wear like iron but also fit well then buy these jeans. These George Strait branded jeans are 15 oz denim, not 8-10 oz you may be used to. So be warned, these are heavyweight jeans and the thickness is noticeable compared other cheaper styles and brands. I don't know who George Strait is but I give him credit for making sure his name went on quality merchandise. They fit well and are pre-washed so no worry about shrinkage unless you dry them on high all the time. One thing I like most about Wranglers is the seven belt loops instead of the five that are standard on all other brands. If you have a slim waist, you will appreciate how much better these lie on your waist with your belt supported at seven points instead of five. No "bunching up" at the waist to keep your pants up. Throw in the slim fit so you don't have that baggy a$$ look and it's a winning combination. Since I have big calves and wear boots 90% of the time, the boot cut is also a much appreciated feature. These are hands down my favorite jeans, or as I call them, dungarees, which should give away my age. You can buy cheaper brands and styles but if you don't want that "shrink to fit" garbage, or no saggy, baggy a$$ seat, or no torn, shredded, whiskered or distressed looking jeans, but you do want real no nonsense jeans and a great fit and quality material, then you should try these GS Cowboy cut jeans. It's the only brand and style I buy now. And no, I do not work for Wrangler nor did I receive a discount for this review (wish I did ;-). I just appreciate good quality.

Its hard to review this item. The George Straight jeans are the only ones that are comfortable on my husband. He's 6'-1'' Skinny doesn't come close to describing him. Wears a 29 waist, probably 28, but they are hard to find. He needs a 33' inseam, but that is no longer available so I buy whatever has the best price and hem them, because he lives in jeans. He says the crotch doesn't ride up like all the other brands. He's short legged I guess, with a 6 foot man and only a 33" inseam? But he's long in the torso so maybe these are made taller from the crotch to the waist? I don't know. I don't have others to compare them to anymore. He's been wearing George Straight jeans now for 25-30 years. We have a farm. And he wears through a pair quickly. but its not the materials fault. I mend them to get every ounce of structure out of them. The fabric away from the knees that he wore a hole in or the back pocket where he carries his knife and shoves in a screwdriver and hoof knife and whatever else, is still thick and able to accept a good strong patching job like Sashiko. He also likes the cowboy cut, but the slim fits him. How this review helps someone else I have no clue.

Good fit

I do computer support so I spend a lot of time under desks working on towers, so I need pants that have a loose, comfortable fit but with more durability than most business-casual kaki type pants. When I first got these they were great - they're comfortable, even when bending over or hunched under a table or stretching around equipment. I was a little concerned about the thickness of the material though, it was noticeably thinner than my usual Levi jeans. I need to card into many doors, so the wallet comes out a lot, and in less than a week i was in a hurry somewhere and caught my back pocket trying to put my wallet back, and the pocket ripped at a corner. I thought the threads had just pulled out, but the threads held and it tore a hole in the pants instead. I ignored that for a few days and on another wallet insert, it tore further. Taking the pants off and examining them, BOTH of the outer back belt loops had also torn holes in the pants, along with a strange hole in the crotch I have no idea how it got there. I un-stitched and removed the belt loops to prevent further damage and those are now at-home jeans. Must have been a bad batch I thought, and ordered a replacement pair. Within the week, and despite being very careful with them, I noticed I had already torn another hole by a belt loop. I guess I'll be removing both of those back belt loops before they also tear further out. I placed a red cap behind one of the belt loop holes to highlight it in the picture. The loop is still attached, it's just waiting for another tug on the loop to widen the rip. This is pretty disappointing, they're not really that much cheaper than a higher quality brand like Levi, but they ARE more comfortable. I'll probably be ordering another pair or two, and removing the belt loops immediately. I just have to be really careful with the back pocket, it was shocking how it ripped with no warning when I missed with my wallet. At least with the belt loop rips it just shows off my tucked in shirt. When the pocket rips bad it shows off my undies. At first I thought it was a design flaw, anchoring those two belt loops in the middle of un-reinforced jean, but I looked at some of my other jeans and that's where they were anchored too, and I've NEVER had this problem before with any other brand. I guess if they're going to use thinner jean material, they need to either remove those belt loops, or add a patch of reinforcing material there, to prevent tearing. Maybe add that (or the commonly used jean-rivet) to the top edges of the pockets.

I love the way they fit, seems like a durable pant, have not felt shrinkage with them being washed about 10 wears, true to size

Ordered through Amazon. My husband is delighted as waistband was slightly stretchy. Win win for him. Nice dark blue.

Says on the website they are wranglers,labels say they are wranglers,but I don't think they are,don't buy them expecting genuine wranglers,because they're not !
