The most reliable user/friendly security panel on the market
The GC2E is the most reliable security panel on the market. I’ve set up, 1000’s of homes with home security and 2Gig has always been the most reliable.

System met tech expectations.

Did not work
My product did not work once hooked up. I had to buy a power cord as it only came with system and plug . No wire to connect the two together. I’m having trouble getting help to replace it .

Mom' system
This system worked out perfect. Bought for my mom because the replacement was much higher from the alarm company. The company installed it and now I'm waiting for the outcome of performance.

My least favorite product by 2gig.
I have installed 2gig products for years and this panel just isn't good. It's decent but why bother with the gc2e when the regular gc2 is better? The GC3 is a million times better than this panel. Things I hate about this panel: The touchscreen!! The regular gc2 lets you calibrate the touch screen and is much better than this screen. I usually program things really fast with the regular gc2 and the GC3 because the screens on those are responsive and calibrated correctly. I make lots of mistakes with these panels and it's not just me! I train other techs on how to use these panels and they have the same issue. I even see customers try to punch their user code in and because the screen is horrible, it'll choose a different number when I can clearly see them pressing the right number. The encrypted part of this panel is pointless if you want additional keypads. So to add a TS1 keypad, you need a 900mhz transceiver BUT that transceiver won't work the the encrypted sensors so you have to use regular sensors. That defeats the whole purpose of having the GC2E panel.
