Diamond Select Toys Tron Movie: Infiltrator Flynn Select Action Figure, Multicolor, Model:APR198245

This Infiltrator Flynn figure is pretty spot on with the movie. But I noticed the red looks more red under warm lighting, like a lamp. It looks more orange sometimes too, when it is under camera lighting, or a ceiling light. I kind of would have preferred a more red “red”, but I take what I can get since this is the most accurate to the movie figure. Highly recommended, Tron and Sark look good too! Edit: Just took a picture with my ceiling light on next to an orange box, and Flynn looks totally red! Never mind, I was wrong! This figure seems to play tricks on the eyes!

The figure look great. However, when it arrived, it was crushed and damaged in transit, seems to happen a lot lately with Amazon toys and other products I don’t know why they can’t get shipping down correctly.

Greetings Programs! Ever since these Diamond Select figures came out of the original Tron. I’ve made it a mission to buy all of Wave 1. I already brought Tron, Sark and the regular blue piping Flynn from Walgreens, now the only one that’s left is Infiltrator Flynn, or Flynn with the Red Piping. I brought this from Amazon, and let me say it’s a bit odd because the packing is different from the Walgreens packaging (see images). And it has more accessories than the Walgreens versions. I know some of you may wonder what it’s like out of the box, but I don’t think I’m going to remove it. The reason being is because oddly, Tron figures sell fast and they can be scarce. So I’m gonna leave my Flynn in his box along with my other figures from Wave 1. Hopefully Wave 2 will have my favorite character Ram from the film. Thanks Amazon. End of Line.

Great figure!

I love it. very good attention to detail. to complete my set, i need a yllow one. (Clu, from teh beginning of the movie).

The figure is a great likeness of the character. Comes with good accessories, like disc effects. I'm very disappointed that it did NOT come with the piece of the buildable Recognizer like the description said. I also ordered Tron, and he did not have the Recognizer piece either.

Hope we get some 7 inch lightcycles soon!

Tron toys don’t appear all that often, so you might want to snap them up before the prices climb. Unfortunately, there are drawbacks. The joints vary from either too stiff or too loose, and the figure stand may or may not attach well onto one of the feet. This one’s been falling over, so you may want to invest in a support claw stand if you intend to take it out of the package.

I'm keeping it mint-in-box.

excelente figura para los fans de Tron de 1982, mi unica queja es que llego mal protegido y el carton se doblo un poco de la parte de arriba, y se marco por la parte de atras. de ahi en fuera todo ok

I bought Sark, Flynn and Tron at the same time purchasing direct from Amazon.ca (rather than another seller). In the case of each figure, the description mentions, "Each figure includes a piece of a buildable Recognizer vehicle". This is not true for any of them that I received. But they are exactly like the pictured boxes; so there's no 'hidden' piece of a Recognizer anywhere in the package that you can't see from the picture. I assume that's a different version of the product that Amazon didn't receive. If you keep the figures in the package, the next points don't matter. On the bottom left side of the site's package picture, you can see the black stand for posing. Size is good, but the peg on the stand is far too small/thin for the holes on their feet. So, the stand provides no support at all for posing action stances. As well, the discs have pegs on the underside, which suggests to me they could be pushed into the holes in the center of their back (where the characters store their discs in the movie), but the peg isn't long enough to fit properly into that hole either. It just barely stays in. Otherwise, not sure why they have pegs as they're not used for posing in their hands. Those three points aside, figures look absolutely amazing and articulate well, including accessories for extra flare. Happy with the purchase, of course, but it just lacks a bit of finesse and Amazon's product listing is slightly off about the Recognizer inclusion.
