JONNY CAT Cat Litter Box Liners 5 / Box (Pack of 6)

My husband and I recently got a young cat and were in need of some litter-box supplies. We personally didn't want to scoop out the cat waste every day so we opted in for large litter-box liners. In my opinion, liners are way easier to use and clean than scooping and disinfecting the litter-box every week. We found that Jonny Cat litter-box liners are the perfect size for our covered litter-box. We first bought the Jonny Cat brand in our local Fred Meyer for around $5.00 per box and $1.00 per bag. I'm glad that we ended up checking Amazon's price for the Jonny Cat liners as we save a little bit of money; the pack of 6 boxes is around $4.50 per box and $0.90 per bag. Since we're buying 6 bags with approximately $3.00 in savings, I think that the Amazon price on these Jonny Cat litter-box bags are a great investment, especially if you know that you'll be using cat litter-box liners. Unless you can find these for less than $4.50 per box, I would say definitely buy this on Amazon for this price because I think it's the cheapest price around. Overall, I would recommend this product if you wanted a very simple and time-efficient way to clean out your cat's litter-box.

PROS:* Thickest liners in the market for cats that love to dig! (I do double-line the pans though)* Strong enough to lift the litter without breaking* Equally strong drawstring for easy lift and closing of the bag* Money saved when you buy them 6 boxes at a time!CONS:* These jumbo bag are HUUUUUGE - even for my big litter boxes. I do find myself having to spend time (more like seconds, really) to adjust it in the pan and draw it for a better fit. Even then, one of my cats who loves to dig and scratch manages to draw the bag off a corner in one of the boxes almost daily. Another reason why I double line the pans.* With the way I change bags (2 at a time), 5 is an odd number of bags to put in a box and causes me to open a new box for one bag most of the time. Kind of like how number of hot dogs in a package never match buns in a bag... Anywhoo, this is more of a pseudo-con. This is why I purchase these liners 6 boxes at a time. :)COMMENTS:These liners make litter cleaning easy-peasy!My cats are the kind that not only require regular litter-sifting, but also good scrub-downs with Comet on a regular basis. The only problem with that is me reaching the third trimester of my pregnancy that makes any type of bending down feel like a monumental task.These litter liners are not only thick to stand against one of my cat's sport of digging, but it completely eliminates the task of deep cleaning the pans. Just lift the bag and done!I continue using these even post-pregnancy...

These are the best liners. I was so disappointed when I received a bunch of boxes I ordered and they were in a soft plastic package that had been badly tossed around, maybe even run over and the boxes were all crushed and damaged. Some of the liners were undamaged though. I did receive my money back. I would buy them again and hope they'd be shipped properly. Have bought them many times before at the local store and have always liked them, especially for the deep litter boxes. I have two cats and this is meaningful for me as I am old and have troubles bending over and cleaning the boxes.

These liners are amazing. The ONLY thing I don't love about my cats is litter. I've tried other liners, so as not to have to deep clean the litter box each week, but the cats scratch holes through them and the litter ends up in the litter box proper. Difficult to clean at times. Jonny Cat liners are so tough and strong they hold up for weeks, if you leave them in that long. Even with 2 cats! The only draw back is the cinch ties. It's very difficult due to the heavier plastic of the liners, to cinch them around the little box in order to prevent shifting. It would be nice if there was some elasticity in them to hold them in place. I use a lid on my larger litter box that serves to hold them in place pretty well. And the ties work well when removing the liner and litter for disposal. It's a little more work to gather them together due to the heavier plastic of the liners, but that's a small price to pay for a great product.

These liners fit my Petmate Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box, Brushed Nickel much better than the original liner that came with the box. The material is a strong 2 mm liner and it is plenty big to cover the whole area of the large catbox. I recommend buying the unscented kind.

Other brand liners just aren't as good/durable. They either tear thru, or can't handle a larger load of litter, or the drawstrings fail.I used to just order these with my local Walmart delivery order of household foods/supplies incl bulk cat litter, but they stopped carrying this and substitute the wholly different "sifting liners" which are just wrong for our usage. So now I buy in bulk from Amazon

Add to litter tray and pull over edges. Reverse top and push bag down into tray to remove trapped air and form bag to tray. Clip on top helps hold on bagI use pine pellets with deodorizer and clean up is easy Remove bag pull ties at top which then become carry handle. And discard like litter bag

Perfect fit for standard litter box. I change then once a week and this keeps the box clean. I prefer changing the bag to scooping because it is more hygienic and i have no contact with feces or urine. The bags are sturdy and withstand the cat’s scratching. These keep both the cats and me happy and our home clean and odorless.
