Don't know the % but the capsule is so small that the dosage I wanted would have been a pain to deal with.

Not that I know of, nothing on the bottle about that, it is a good product.

is it true you are only absorping a fraction of the 50mg per pill?

Your intestinal biome is responsible for the rate of absorption if you have poor gut health, few friendly bacteria, it is not going to benefit you as much as another person.
