Strawberry 12 OZ

I began drinking Nutrament 20 years ago when I began seriously doing strength training and building muscle. It served(along with a banana usually) as a meal replacement or an in-between meal addition (to add some weight) . It works very well in that regards. Comparing Nutrament to say Slim Fast or Glucerna or others, I have a few thoughts to add. Nutrament is Skim Milk based whereas Slim-Fast is Fat Free milk based and Glucerna is water based,therefore to my tastebuds, Nutrament has a little richer taste. Nutrament also has lots of sugar so beware if you are concerned in that regard and Glucerna may be a better choice. Price wise Nutrament is more expensive per oz. than say Slim Fast,but it also has more calories and protein, carbs and fat, so if you are trying to replenish your body after a workout or need more of everything, then Nutrament is a good choice and the price is okay. Slim Fast does have 5 grams of Fiber whereas Nutrament has none so Slim Fast wins there. As for the flavors, I like the Strawberry Nutrament. I also really like the Nutrament Vanilla and Chocolate flavors. Don't care of the banana Nutrament. It you want a meal replacement or meal supplement,I recommend Nutrament. If you are trying to cut down on calories or lose weight, Slim Fast may be a better choice. UPDATED: March 18,2013
