I honestly could not be happier about my decision to go with these glasses. Upon opening the box on the front porch, excited like a small child on Christmas morning, I finally had one of these fine works of art in my hand. As I lifted the glass up towards the sky to better admire the crystal glass and craftsmanship, the sun hit the glass causing a bright enough reflection that had 3 of my neighbors drop what they were doing and come over to oooh and aaaah and drool.... I'm 6'2 so these fit me perfect along with the perfect weight to them at the bottom. Very solid feel. They have just the right thickness to them. Not obnoxious thick either or over the top in any way. In person, they look as solid and classy as they feel. The glasses make your whiskey look like buttery honey, holy goodness that is even fit to be calmly sipped upon in the waiting room to see St. Peter. If you are an alpha, these are perfect. If you are not, having these in your hand will make you one. Picture a holiday party hosted by your company owner or CEO in a mansion. 99% of the party are drinking out of elegant shaped glasses with fancy patterns. The 1% are in the back room making billion dollar deals, planning takeovers, monopolizing markets and sipping their spirits out of these glasses. The modern day Rockefellers, Vanderbilts and Carnegies. Unfortunately, when I backed out at the last second of purchasing a similar set of 6, I did not realize this was a set of 2 when ordering. I was really looking foward to having 6 for Christmas. Hopefully, these will still be available!! Anyways, much kudos to the Mofado family for such a well made and designed product.

Update 2: Got the second set of glasses and they are very nice. They do have a few bubbles, but this is to be expected in hand blown glass. All bubbles are very small, and unlike the first set, most are in the thick bottom part, so will not affect the glass strength. Unless you are shining strong light directly onto the glass, bubbles are not noticeable. Glasses are very well designed, elegant, sturdy and easy to hold in the hand. They are also large enough to fit oversized ice cubes for a killer look that is sure to impress your friends when serving them a scotch or old fashioned. I am bumping the rating to five stars for the end product and the fantastic service from Mofado. Update 1: Problems slip through quality control, stuff happens, but when it does Mofado goes above and beyond to help their customers. Literally within 5 minutes Mofado had addressed the issue more than satisfactorily. Will be getting new ones. Bumped up the star rating from 2 to 4 because of the amazing customer service. If the new ones are good, will increase to 5. Original review: I had very high hopes for these glasses from reading the reviews. They were exactly what I was looking for. It appears however that the quality control has taken a nose dive. The glasses I got are of subpar quality. First, they are not the same. One barely has the "dent" on the bottom (barely a shallow dome) while the other looks more like the amazon product pictures. One glass also has a large bubble as well as a chip (looks like a burst bubble) near the rim. I bought them as a Christmas gift on amazon.com from Canada. Now I probably need to start my Christmas shopping all over again. Very disappointing.

I read the one and two star reviews because I just always start there when deciding on a product. After I received my set, I found the following: Many of the one and two star reviews complained of large bubbles and imperfections. Mine had zero imperfections and some very tiny bubbles in the base but nothing that in any way takes away from their integrity or asthetic and are truly are only noticeable when you go looking for them. Another review said they don’t sit flat. Mine sit perfectly flat. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe those folks were the exception. I don’t know. The complaints I didn't/don’t understand: "they're too big", "they're too heavy". The size of the glasses (3.15" x 3.5") as well as "OVERSIZED GLASSES" is clearly listed in the images and product description. The size of the glasses shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone. It's specifically one of the reasons I bought them - they can hold a 2" square cube. The weight is also addressed right in the name "Thick Weighted Bottom Rocks Glasses" and "Thick Heavy Base" is listed right in the same photo with the description. They are heavier than the average glass of this type, but that was kind of the whole point (and clearly described). It's like ordering a pepper crusted steak only to send it back because it's too "peppery." I personally love my set. I wanted a solid, quality set of glasses and these are. They are very well made, look sharp and are of very good quality. I'll most likely buy another set.

Bought as a replacement for similar glasses he’d owned in the past but that I🤷🏻‍♀️ had broken. Well I must say that they are perfect, but not for the feint of heart. These are very beautiful, large, sturdy, solid well- made glasses. They are heavy but perfect for that evening glass of bourbon (or any other beverage) when you want to feel like rewarding yourself for a day well done. And even though I bought them for him, I’ve found myself using the other glass and enjoying a round of Grand Marnier at the end of my day. In short, they are the perfect choice as a gift to give away, or gift to yourself and absolutely worth the price.

I just received these in the mail: First thought: Packaging on the outside looks decent; something you'd find on a shelf at Target or Costco. Inside, not so much. That annoying styrofoam that breaks up into tiny bits with the slightest touch is not very fun to remove or is in any way appealing to look at. Second thought: The glasses themselves have a great weight to them! They are very easy to hold and have a very wide mouth for drinking. That being said... The only complaints I have after washing both glasses; there are tiny air bubbles at the bottom. Not very many; maybe 3-4 on each glass but the fact that they cost almost $30 for a set of 2 is kind of absurd. I would still gift these to friends/family if you do not mind that small defect. Final opinion: If you don't mind that small air bubble defect (it's honestly not that bad; very similar to the issue that was already photographed and posted here although the bubbles present in my glasses aren't as abundant) they are worth the purchase. These get a solid 4/5 from me. 4/5 in appearance (air bubble issue/crystal looks great after it's washed!) 5/5 in feel and weight (very sturdy, highly unlikely to tip over) 4/5 in packaging (outside looks fine; inside? Have fun with the styrofoam blizzard inside, haha.

Beautifully crafted, solidly designed premium over-sized rocks glass. Absolutely perfect for whiskey cocktails or sipping a bourbon neat. And if you're partial to a slow-melting ice cube that won't dilute your drink this glass easily accommodates a large round ice ball. Hefty weight feels great in the hand. The set of two make a wonderful gift along with the makings of a favorite cocktail. Pictured here is one of my faves - a Chill Chum with Maker's Mark, POM juice, lemon juice, muddles strawberries and a splash of ginger beer. Cheers!

I bought these Mofado whisky glasses to be used on my deck bar. I wanted glasses that looked nice, felt good in hand, possessed some durability, and weren’t too expensive. I have been pleased with these glasses so far. The bottoms are very heavy, and much more stable than they appear (makes a small dose of single malt/single barrel feel like a fist full of whisky/whiskey). The crystal is very clear. The light refraction through your glass of golden goodness is a pleasing presentation. If you like your amber libation with a little ice, you will like the ring of these glasses without worry of breakage. 2 of the 6 glasses I bought have one very small bubble in each. The bubbles are not noticeable during normal use, however close inspection will reveal them. In the weeks that I have had these glasses,I have served around 16 guests. Every one of them have made positive comments on these glasses. Some wanting to know where they can get the same. Some even asked if they could take theirs home. I will be ordering more Mofado glasses in other patterns to help with drink identification as people set them down while participating in BBQ activities,then can’t remember whose is whose. These glasses would make a nice gift. The packaging is very sturdy, keeping the glasses safe in transport (good for camping, hunting trips, or other forms of travel). Cheers. Enjoy.
