Where have you been my whole life????
This is crazy. I have suffered from scalp psoriasis for 30 years..... I have tried everything.... UV light, steroids, medicated shampoo, you name it I've tired it. Recently, when I purchased my T-sal shampoo these things showed up in my email as a recommendation based on other people who had purchased the shampoo, also purchased these. I had never heard of them..... Read the review and read how everyone said they were great for scalp buildup. They are..... Ive only used them 3 times and my scalp is pretty much flake free..... and the body my hair has now is unbelievable. I have long hair, and I don't think the shampoo is able to really get in there and do its job.... Im careful I don't tangle it..... and I haven't had any more tangles than normal. It gets into your scalp gently removing any buildup.... and my scalp have never felt better..... and my hair has never looked better!!! I even gave my daughter the extra 2 because her hair is so thick that the shampoo can't get into her scalp...... I haven't heard any complaints....... so thats a good thing! When asked she stated she liked it so score one for Mom!!!!!

Great for black/african hair! Cleans scalp/removes build-up effortlessly!
Almost perfect. These clean your scalp REALLY well. I have thick, coily hair (african), so it can be difficult to get down to the scalp for cleaning. This does the job better than anything else. I bought this product because I have trouble with excess build-up on my scalp. My scalp gets really oily, which quickly turns to build-up, then smell. This product extends the turnover time from 3-4 hours all the way to 12+. Not to mention that it's also an effective styling brush as well. I use this everytime I wash my hair, but you can even use it when drying your hair (a traditional brush is usually better for that though). They are flexible, so they can adapt to any size head (or hand!). If you have big hands like me, you can also stick your middle finger through and cup the brush, allowing you to control better and apply more pressure. Only minor critique is that I lost 2 prongs on the black one. This does come with 4 brushes, so 2 missing prongs after a month is definitely doable. Also, each brush has about 100 prongs, so I'm not worried. Another point to mention (not a critique), is that this brush cleans REALLY well - perhaps TOO well. I would be a bit careful about how much shampoo you put on for the first few uses. This product gives your hair and scalp a deep clean, so you will want to hold back on the shampoo - lest you dry your hair out completely. That has definitely happened to me more than once after using this product. Nothing wrong, just means you need less shampoo.

Not the best, but not the worst
Unfortunately for me, I have seborrheic dermatitis so I was looking for something to help me get all of the dead skin off of my scalp. I used these brushes during my shampoos and they helped a little to pull up the dead skin but the bristles are pretty stiff so I ended up doing more damage than good. My husband uses them so they didnโt go to waste and he really likes them so they are great but not for the purposes that I wanted them for. The price is great for the amount you receive so if you are just looking for a scalp massager or to brush/comb your hair, these are great. If you have a skin condition, think twice or maybe donโt use them as aggressively as I did.

The bristles are nice
I've read reviews that State bristles are hard (non-flexible) and that's what I love about these! Scalp massage , scratcher, and brush my hair at the same time, nice. I appreciate that they come in a variety of colors.

Still love it a year later - for scalp and short hair
I bought these scalp brushes a year ago. I'm still using the first one (the others I put away for backup). This brush is indispensable to me. I used to suffer from itchy (not flaky) scalp, especially in wintertime. Using this brush has helped so much--I've got no itchiness (and if I do have it, I just run this brush through my hair) and my hair and scalp look very healthy. I do have shorter hair, so I'm able to run this brush completely through my hair. I like the brush for that purpose too, as it helps distribute the oils (natural and any I may have added) as well as any light styling products I've added that I don't mind distributing. I use a natural boar bristle brush for brushing my hair too--I use this scalp brush to augment the boar bristle brush. I like that the scalp brush is super easy to clean too, so I can wash it every time I wash my hair if I want. I buy a lot of things on Amazon and review maybe 20% of them, but this one, I keep wondering if I should buy a backup because I know it's hard to find the perfect hard bristle brush like this without it being too hard or having other issues. When I saw that I hadn't left feedback for this item, I figured if I like it enough to seriously consider buying it again before I even need it, then maybe others would be interested in my opinion.

Works well to remove loose skin
These items work to remove loose skin from your scalp, or other parts of your body I suppose. Iโve found it works best if you do it in the shower with wet hair and with a gentle rub. Do it gently a little bit at a time rather than a single aggressive rub. You donโt really need four of these but I think each brush probably costs a few nickels to make and most of the cost is for shipping and anything else needed to run a business. It should cost no more than half of what I paid but I canโt dock it stars for that. Itโs still one of the cheapest options and if I had to buy it again I suppose I would.

Bristles slightly stiffer, have rougher tips than competing items
OVERALL: Would NOT buy again. Bristles are uncomfortably stiff and some have a scratchy tip. CONSTRUCTION/DESIGN: individual BRISTLE TIPS ARE NOT CONSISTENTLY SMOOTHLY ROUNDED. Rough molding artifacts are scratchy. Tested on the dry skin on my arms, GBS LEAVES WHITE HAIRLINE SCRATCHES ON MY SKIN. A similar $.99 product I bought at my local drugstore had completely smooth, soft bristle tips that did not leave scratches in back-to-back comparison. Sturdy molded plastic appropriate to product. finger loop feels sturdy, generous size, helps stabilize the brush on my palm. VERDICT: bristles stiffer and sharp/scratchier than competing products. Would NOT buy again.

keeps the scalp's circulation going! great tool
That little brush is the easiest way to get circulation going all around the scalp. Helps also with removing dandruffy areas caused by chemicals in city-water. (bought a filter too). This little brush just feels like a hair follicle rejuvenator while you at the computer watching silly clips on youtube.

Decent but very stiff
I bought this for my beard so I could give it a good scrub. I initially thought it would be more like a silicone like the ones for your head. But it is not. It's a harder plastic with harder plastic "bristles". It does lather the beard nicely but it's a little bit too rough you do have to be very light/gentle with it for sure. I'm not sure how much I'll be using it. Decent if you're ok with an aggressive scrub.

Very hard bristles. Too hard.
This shampoo brush is too hard for my liking. The bristles are too stiff and I can't get a good massage on my scalp. I don't think it's a good idea to use this brush.
