I'm using jelly roll strips for the sides of masks for my family and this tool has made it easier for my husband to help me in the mask making process.

The slasher was a great purchase ! It made the folding and sewing of the strips around the batting so easy.

Making a rag rug makes it go so much faster.

This sasher works as long as the batting inside the folder jelly roll fabric isn't too thick. I tried to make a rug with wool batting and the sasher wouldn't slide due to the thickness. There is no way to remove the tool once you have started on the strip, so I had to break it off, which made it useless and wasted my money. But on a fabric-only strip or with very thin batting, it works.

Great tool for Jelly Roll Rugs. Saves an incredible amount of time.
