12 cans would take me a while to consume. How far out are the expiration dates on the products you received?

Food comes with a "sell by" date or a "best by" date, but not an expiration date. The one on my shelf says "best by Aug. 2024" but properly canned food can last for decades.

Manufacterer: Is the polymeric lining of your cans derived from corn?

Why are these so overpriced? I can get them for under $2 usd a can at the store. I wanted to get them delivered, but not if I'm getting ripped off.
