very watery, no like jello. the taste was awful. i'm so sorry to say that.... it just wasn't good.

Great.. 20 grams of protein. Terrible.. the taste! You're thinking grape jello. Nope! You taste nasty artificial flavor, sweetener, and coloring.

Update: after the companies response and refund we purchased the right flavor for the 260 calories. Dad is pretty picky about flavors and textures but he really likes the mango. It smells really good too. It's a great source of compact calories and I didn't want people turned off by another low star rating so for the Product FIVE STARS... and so far no diarrhea!! - which is a problem with the drinks like ensure and boost for dad ====================== UPDATE: The company reached out to me and offered a refund, which I accepted. I can't change the star rating because the initial issue IS a problem but I wanted to let people know the Company was responsive and reasonable and I appreciated that. ============================================= This should have been made clearer that different flavors have different calories, much Lower calories. When I was looking at these to supplement a senior's diet I came across the Mango flavor first at 260 calories the price seemed worth it. But some people noted the Grape was the best flavor. When I ordered the Grape I had NO IDEA that different 'flavors' would have lower calories. Yes now I see the pics show the containers with the calorie count on them. So yeah I missed it. 90 calories can be had from better tasting and cheaper food. very disappointed

This is a gelatinous health food - it is not jello by any stretch of the imagination. 5 stars for the nutritional value, but sweet baby jesus this is so hard to eat even if you're committed. The best way for me to consume it is to add hot water to break it up a bit and drink it like a shot. It limits the suffering. If you're eating to achieve goals, the nutritional profile is quite good. But the experience of eating this stuff is downright demoralizing.

They taste good and you're receiving your nutrition at the same time. It has been a great for me to help one of my dementia patient healthy.

I don't know how to describe this product to you. It's not gelatin, nor does it have the consistency of gelatin, so get the image of Jello out of your head. Imagine crossing a thick gelatin with a finely pureed applesauce and that's about as close as you're going to get. Maybe spreadable jam? But it's not terrible; it's got a very interesting mouthfeel to it. Of all the flavors, grape seems to be the best tasting. This product is sweet, but suffers from artificial sweetener overtones that can lend it bit of a chemical taste, especially the fruit punch flavor. If you're old enough to remember the fruit drink Lil Hugs from the 70s & 80s, that came in the little plastic barrels, that is the closest thing I can compare the taste to. Overall, I'd say this is one of the better dessert-style products for protein consumption. It doesn't weigh heavy on the stomach or cause upset - and believe me, I'm the king of sensitive stomachs - and it doesn't appear cause constipation. It's portable and doesn't require refrigeration, although I think it tastes better chilled. It's a little weird, and definitely not like anything else I've ever had, but I would recommend the product.

I very much disliked this product, I have used different flavors in the past and found them to be satisfactory, this time I decided to try the grape for a change, I was very disappointed in the strong metallic taste. As this item camnot be returned I guess I’ll throw it out and chalk it up to a $40.00 dollar loss
