Very happy with it

Sound quality top drawer. Can use 2 sets of speakers, which is the main benefit over the much cheaper Denon models. Nice and small, fits inside half of an Ikea Kallax cube. 2 optical inputs that activate automatically when the device is connected. Switches on automatically when TV is turned on (connected by optical cable). Standby power consumption could be better at about 3w. Remote is good quality but far too big and complicated. The most useful buttons aren't the biggest ones.

Excellent little CD player, pairs beautifully with some Wharfedale Diamond 12.1s and provides plenty of power unless you’re looking to fill a particularly large room.

Marantz has a great tradition in providing high quality products. This system was not an exception. Until Marantz decided to sever their relationship with third party provider of internet radio indexing services. So, what you are left with is an outstanding amplifier and a very good CD player, but if you want internet radio streaming, you have to go elsewhere - either get an external tuner or use an app on your phone, computer or tablet, and get a way to connect them to the amplifier. It is pity Marantz have decided to leave their customers high and try, and let them be victims of their inability to manage relationships with their suppliers. For this amount of money this is not a good product, and buying it while knowing that it will not have full functionality is not a wise decision. Pity!

International radio stations now restricted on TuneIn so it is not possible to access radio stations outside the UK via this device BUT they can still be readily accessed via a web browser and other apps. Marantz needs to fix this issue or make it clear in their advertising that UK based users have severely restricted internet radio access.

A good quality system - but the inability to access radio station around the globe is a major let down. I wouldn’t have bought if I’d known this before purchase .

My M-CR612 is a very nice well-made unit with good sound, but the FM+DAB & tuner is a major disappointment. When changing FM, DAB or internet preset stations, there is a very long 5-6 sec. delay, which is very annoying. My cheap Philips mini hifi can manage preset changes instantly. I have contacted Marantz but they have no explanation as to why this is so, and sadly there is no solution. If the tuner component of this unit is important to you, I would give it a miss. There are better ones out there.

Buon prodotto. Praticamente si ha un impianto completo di tutto con una spesa onestissima. Suona decisamente bene, il letto CD è rapido e silenzioso. Molte regolazioni audio, funzionamento semplice, estetica ben curata e display di facile lettura. Telecomando con tutte le funzioni necessarie. Per la sua categoria ha pochi concorrenti, se poi preso al "prezzo giusto" credo non ne abbia nessuno... Marantz sempre una garanzia. Aggiungo anche l'eccellente qualità del servizio clienti ed assistenza, sempre rapidi a rispondere ad ogni dubbio o soluzione.

Eine kleine Kompaktanlage mit sehr gutem und klarem Sound, einer sehr guter Ausstattung und einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Klangbild ist sehr gut abgestimmt, kann aber natürlich über Bass/Höhen-Regelung und einem speziellen Dynamic-Bass-Boost noch individuell angepasst werden. Neben 2 optischen Eingängen (einer mit Auto-Einschalt-Funktion!) verfügt die Anlage über einen analogen Cinch-Eingang, einen Cinch-Ausgang, einem Lan-Anschluss für Internet-Radio, einem USB-Eingang, einem Antennen-Eingang, Bluetooth und einem Subwoofer-Ausgang. Dieser wird jedoch, bei passenden Boxen (bei mir Klipsch R-50M) nicht wirklich benötigt. Die Anlage liefert wirklich einen satten Sound. Der beste Clou ist aber der Verstärker. Der kann entweder 4 Boxen mit normaler Stärke oder 2 Boxen mit doppelter Power bedienen. So kann man 2 kleine Räume oder einen mittleren/großen Raum beschallen. Ich habe die Anlage in meinem Wohnzimmer (30 qm) mit 2 Boxen laufen und benötige im Party-Betrieb nicht mal 50% der möglichen Lautstärke. Fazit: Bei diesen Preis muss man eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
