These blades are sharp and easy to change. It’s a great kit for a beginner or a simple set of tools for someone more advanced. I used them on rubber blocks and they worked perfectly. I love that everything stores in the handle, making it very compact. I have small hands and it was still easy and comfortable to use. It’s a great item!

Bought this item for my daughter because she wanted to make her own stamps at home. She used this carving tool, some erasers and ink pads and made some her own stamps. It came out very well with this tool. Easy to use out of the box. Kid friendly. She used it on her own with no adult help. Would recommend.

I bought this set for pumpkin carving. It worked pretty nicely, and quicker than some other tools I have tried to use. A 9-hour job took me only 6 with these. However, I left them to soak in soapy water overnight so I could wash pumpkin goo off easily the next day, and the blades were tarnished and rusty!! I couldn't believe it. I saw online you can use olive oil on them if you don't have machine oil, so we'll see if that is enough to protect them until next year, and hopefully they won't lose their beautiful sharpness.

Every linoleum carver I know started with this model and with good reason. It is priced very well and you get 5 different blades, offering everything you need to get started. After some practice, you will likely want to upgrade, especially since switching out the blades every time you want to use a different size becomes tedious, but it is a very reasonable place to start.

It makes the job specially for Linocut. For wood, is gonna depend on the hardness of the wood. They are sharp enough.

Ahora me explico por qué sale utilizado en tantos tutoriales sobre sellos. El diseño del mango-caja, además de ergonómico, es perfecto para tenerlo todo junto y no perder ninguna gubia. La selección de éstas es más que suficiente y de gran calidad, siendo la más estrecha extremadamente precisa. Facilita el trabajo con la goma una barbaridad. Yo utilizo, además, un cutter de hoja larga y fina, pero prefiero tenerlo por separado, aunque en la misma cajita, junto con unas pinzas, un cepillo de sombra de ojos, y un lápiz. Es decir, ¡perfecto!

I had one of those speedball cutters before and lost it, this is the same one, original product. Came with the box quite beaten up, unfortunately, but still in perfectly new condition.
