Great tea in the early grey type of tea. Flagrant and full of flavor. One of my favorites.

Love this tea. Great as a coffee alternative but so like it with brown sugar and cream as a sweet after dinner.

Love this tea. It is a nice black tea without being excessively fruity, sweet, or bitter. The bag will last a good long time as you don't need much to get a good cup of tea. It also works for iced tea as well. For me, the package is a good deal.

This bag of black Russian tea lasts a long time, even if you use it every day in your teapot. A little goes a very long way! It's almost impossible to find this in a local store, so I was very glad to find it on Amazon. Actually, the Amazon price was better than I found at a specialty Russian food store. I love the fact that I can order it for my friend and have it sent directly to her. She makes the best tea by blending some of this Russian tea with regular black tea for the most delicious Turkish tea in her authentic pot. It has a strong flavor of bergamot similar to Earl Grey, which is very nice, but in my opinion it is too bold of a flavor on its own. Overall, I recommend this tea!

Backstory: My friend got me this tea years ago, and I totally forgot about it. I had actually forgotten how it tastes, but I remember loving it. It was my favorite tea at the time. I ended up going through half the bag before I lost it in a move. Something sparked a memory and I just had to find this tea again. Review: This tea is very unique. I have heard from other reviews that it is ceylon, but it tastes different then other ceylon teas I have tried. I find that it actually smells and a little like bubblegum. In the same way a coffee might have a tasting note of chocolate. I feel like I would remember a bubble gum tea, but it is the same packaging color (Black). Unless they changed it since I had it the first time (Christmas 2017), my tasting ability must have developed since then. It definitely was not what I expecting (which is why I knocked a star). As far as body goes, II would put this on the lower end of full bodied- the higher end of medium bodied, depending on your tolerances, and preferences of course. Simply put It has a decent amount of body, but it also isn't overpowering. On my own personal scale of experience, it sits at about a 6.5. I like to drink most of my teas black so if you have it with milk that will of course alter the scale. If I were to compare this to another tea it would be a black tea I tried with currants (or at least currant extract) mixed in. Even then, the comparson is a little bit of a stretch. Bottom line: I wouldn't call it my favorite tea, but I like it enough to predict I want to order another bag when I have finished this one. I have tried dozens of teas, but I have only repurchased 3, making this the 4th. I really do think this is one of a kind, and definitely worth a try for any black tea drinker. Hope this helps!

Love this tea. It has a lemon scent. Good for hot or cold.
