It's a beautiful guitar, nice finish
It's a beautiful guitar, nice finish, strings already on. I play about 1/2 hour every other day. It works fine for me and I am a beginner. The only thing I misunderstood was that the overdrive is a function of the battery-powered mini-amp,not the guitar itself. Not a big deal as I'm just learning and nothing in my beginner's book ever mentions overdrive. With the 3 tone controls on the guitar you can change the sound quite a bit.So I highly recommend this guitar.

Good for the price
Solid guitar for the price. It was supposed to have a whammy bar, but mine didn't come with one.

Great beginner guitar package. Can't beat the price.
I bought this for my 9 year old son who is just learning guitar. He likes the neck and it sounds really good to him. He's been playing it a lot since he got it. He says that he has to tune it "a lot" but I think it is no more often than any other guitar. I would buy this again for sure.

Great guitar.
Very nice guitar , seems to be very well made. It will need adjustments right out of the box.Adjustments are very easy to do. Great guitar for the money !

Great looking, it also came quickly in time for the birthday present it was to be. How it plays I don't know.

Beginners only
Heavier than I wanted ... did not stay in tune well ... poor quality tuners. Good enough for a beginner, but I had higher exoectations.

Bought one still "in the box" but has problems
So lets start with1) the paint was cloudy, like white-ish "clouds" on black, I do not think it was intentional, I think it was a "2nd"2) almost have the frets had sharp overhands that could cut your hand easilyI bougt is 2nd hand, but none of these things were the results of being "used". It was a factory problem. This NEVER should have gotten through QA. Maybe it did not. I will never know. But where there is 1 ...It is an OK guitar. As in for a beginner. Only. This is not a 'get up on stage and play' guitar. So, for the person saying this was "close to a Fender" - WOW! not even close. I have been playing for over 40 years. So I do not what I am talking about.

Pretty damned good
Surpassed my expectations. Neck is super comfortable and warm feeling. Hardware and pickups fine. Bit for 65-75 clams: a playable instrument w a hint of mojo! Not bad--not bad at all....
