WeeRide Co-Pilot Spare Hitch, 4.3 x 3.3 x 3 inches, Silver

I only review 5-star solutions. The bikey trailer thingy is great but the connection to the bike that comes standard is of one diameter, heavy, and crappy. This part fixes all that. It is so effective in it's correction that you'll find yourself asking why it took you so long to find a part to make your life better. You'll be standing there in your awe and satisfaction, wondering what other things in your life are so underwhelming that there may be a simple, small, even, commonplace solution that might make your sunsets technicolor.

This hitch was for a WeeRide Co-Pilot that has its hitch give away with a bicycle by accident. This is an exact replacement and was easy to install. Got our bike tag-along trailer back up and running.

Needed a new one because the one that came with it when it was given to us kept making our kiddo tip sideways. This was easy to attach and we have been on a few rides and no issues.

the machining is so shoddy that i was afraid it wouldnt fit. but i eventually got it to slide in, I used a bit of grease to make it an easier transition. that helped. This is a decent enough product. the screws were short so they barely fit around my bar. and it is heavy i added a lot of extra weight so when I ride solo i want to take the whole thing off so thats kinda anoying but not that big of a deal. Overall im happy. Pros Works, feels sturdy. cons feels poorly machined and was not an easy fit but eventually did. heavy.

Having an extra one of these to switch back and forth between parents bikes is amazing! Bought this years ago now and is still holding strong 👍

great fit on hard to find item

Identical to the hitch that came with the Co-Pilot itself. This installs easily (note, however, that it does not include the allen key to install it like the co-pilot comes with, but you should be able to use the one that came with the bike, or a normal allen wrench). This does include the bolt which was a nice addition, I thought we would just have to keep it with the co-pilot and move it between the bikes, but now we have a spare. It is nice to be able to have a hitch on both Mom's and Dad's bike, and not having to move it between the two bikes any time we want to change up.

I have an old instep pathfinder bike trailer with a nearly identical hitch attached to my bike. My wife wanted a hitch on her bike so we can attach to trailer to either of our bikes easily. This hitch is almost identical to the original instep hitch (which they haven't sold in at least a couple of years). By taking a hacksaw and removing 1/8" to the square end of this hitch (where it attaches to the trailer), the hole on this hitch can be made to align with the hole on the trailer's connector, thus allowing the bolt to do its job. For those wondering, the inner diameter of the hollow, square end of the hitch is 1" x 1".

Fit our model perfectly, now we can interchange between 2 different bikes.
