Great assortment of rocks package arrived great and looks good in my aquarium.

This product delivers just as you should expect! I received many large pieces including arches, pass=thru holes and caves. Nothing was broken, just a couple chips.SO pleased !! I am setting up a 75 gallon tank and deciding to take the most organic approach possible without killing myself. So far real good!! I dropped it right in fresh out of the wrappers. No dust, no water fog and instant upgrade !! The look of this rock is stunning! It's instant reef !! Most importantly with no pest or algae infestation. Just INSTANT beauty and depth!! I understand there are many different saltwater paths I can take using this rock as the foundation. I plan on adding even more and introducing this to my 46 gallon Bowfront of 20 years. All the experts, pros and hobbyist were right.....this rock is a brilliant and safe addition to your marine aquarium for tank health and beauty.

Overall, I am SUPER happy with this purchase! There was a large variety of sizes and shapes in my box, all with lots of nooks and crannies which will be great for future inhabitants! I will say that several pieces had chunks broken off them from shipping, but considering the volume and weight of this package, it doesn’t surprise me. I can’t complain. The rocks still look great in my tank. I already had a decent bit of rock in my 55 gallon newly set up tank, as I transferred some live rock to it from my 32 gallon Biocube. So not all of this shown in my tank is from my shipment. That being said, I had four pieces leftover after arranging in my 55 gallon tank, one of which was very large, and I put those four into my biocube. The rock shown laid out on the table on the newspaper all came in my order. Beautifully colored pieces!

Pros: Lots of holes Good color No parasites or other hitchhikers Cons: White on areas that break off Could have more color (intense) than it does I got 2 boxes of the 40lbs, and only needed 1 of the boxes. I will keep the rest on hand to replace pieces if needed along the way. This is NOT Live Rock if that's what you are looking for. It's a great substitute (it is real rock). There are tons of holes throughout it. And, in the peaceful larger aquarium, as soon as I put it in, 2 of the basslets disappeared into the rocks and have never come back out. I might see them in a week is my guess after they get hungry? One of them got into one of the rocks, and decided not for it. All of the fish are swimming in and out of them, however. It's added a LOT of intrique to an otherwise dull aquarium, finishing up the way it looks. The one aquarium is visible from both sides, so having rocks and other decor that look good from any angle/direction mattered. These meet that requirement. And, allow the fish to swim through and be seen from one side or the other as they do so. I'm not returning my extra rock. I may setup another aquarium coming up and use those rocks in it. I'm not disappointed, that's for sure!

I saw in the review that someone was complaining that it wasn’t live rock… it is not it’s better! Also heard complaints about breakage and shipment… I’m really not surprised, but delivery just dropped it on my driveway so hard that I could hear it from inside the house… only one little piece was broken. I was so shocked each individual peice were wrapped well! The last time that I ordered it, I did have some breakage, but it glued back together easily with super glue or frag glue and it’s lasted for years. The shapes in this package is nice mix of shapes makes easy to work with holes and arches for critter homes! The stuff is beautiful and I have used it in my tank since it came out years ago… the purple holds its color and really looks like Coraline algae! Grows corals and algae just like the real thing! Without all the hitchhikers that come with live rock. Make sure it caribsea life rock! I did try and off namebrand It was like plaster and just broke apartin a few months

Perfect purchase for my tank. Great shape rocks for building my aquascape. All rocks in great condition. Honetly, better than I ever expected.

Should have been a beautiful product, but packaged very poorly (heavy, fragile rocks wrapped in a single layer of brown paper and tossed in a box with ZERO other protection) and therefore arrived with every piece damaged. I've ordered LifeRock before and this is the worst packaging for this product I've ever seen.

I've been doing SW and reef tanks for 15+ years, and this is the best rock I've ever come across or used. The pieces that came were nice sized and in different shapes. I ordered the 40lb box. The rocks are nice and colored with different shades of purple coralline algae. No, this is not real coralline algae but it looks very, very real. Your tank will instantly look matured. Much better than the white Marco rock that looks completely cheesy and unnatural in most people's tank. I would definitely recommend this rock to anyone. There are two minor details that should be noted though. 1. It's supposed to be infused with nitrifying bacteria. While it was wrapped in a cloth/paperish type material, by the time it arrives to your house 5 days later it was basically dry. More that likely any "life" was long gone from the rock. 2. I'm not really sure why the description of the product has the word "sand" in it. This is not sand, it's rock. Amazon needs to remove this error.

Glad I purchased this rock,looks great I bought 40kg all the pieces were of different sizes. I have always used live rock in the past but got fed up with hitchhikers.

Don’t get this confused with live rock. It isn’t. But no rock is born alive, right? Very pleased with the 40-pound box I received. There were 10 pieces in varying shapes and sizes. The rough stacking in the attached pictures was done in less than 5 minutes. As you can see, they’re perfect for making little caves and hidey holes. And will probably be a bit more artistic when I take the time to arrange them properly. Obviously too soon to say how they work in the water, but they’re full of tiny little holes and crevices that make it look ideal for cultivating live rock of the future.

Nice rock with plenty of crevices for them to latch together. Only a few, very small chunks broke off during shipping. They are also easy to modify using a drill and a small hammer.
