Repaired my favorite trackball
The right button on my $140 trackball was getting a little wonky, so I tore it apart and matched up the microswitch part # in it with these little guys. Unsoldered the old, soldered in a new and we're good to go! ...way cheaper than buying another trackball

Fixed my Trackball, Electro-Mech, and soldering skill required. No more random/double click issues!
I haven't been actively soldering for a while, but got into the grove after a bit. Has that horrible lead free solder on the old one, so it takes flux and some quality leaded solder on the pads to get the solder wick sucking it up while prying on the other side of the switch. Why did I every trade my desoldering station! It fixed the random pages opening and odd selections from phantom double-clicks on my M570 Trackball. It's working like new, tomorrow I will do my other one, and expect it will do much smoother.

Worked to fix my Logitech Trackballs, both wireless and wired
It does take some effort and skill to do the surgery, but these switches are excellent, and worth the effort, I think.Very happy that they are sold like this, so cheap.I've used Logitech trackballs for decades now, with my whole family using them too. They do wear out, so I just saved them up, swapping in new ones, and then bought this 5-pack and went through all the flaky buttons, making them like new again. Also a good opportunity to swap some of the other parts that may die (trackball sensor, scroll wheel sensor, circuit board) - those parts are not as cheaply available as these switches.

Worked great for my Logitech G700s
Worked great for my Logitech G700s. I looked up tutorials on youtube and hunted down this type of switch as the correct one. One tip I would give is that rather than soldering off the old switch and soldering on this one you can just take the metal piece out of a new switch and put it into the old housing. The reason all mouse button switches like these wear out is that the metal piece deforms over time. Once you've replaced it once, it takes very little time to switch out the metal piece the next time. You can also put the upper cover of the new switch on if you want (especially if you break one of the thin plastic pieces that lock in place with the bottom plastic housing.

Better quality than originals
I used these to replace the worn switches on two mice. These are much better quality than the D2FC-F-7N that come standard on most mice nowadays. There is a tad more resistance and a more tactile, satisfying click. I was worried I wouldn't like it but I immediately loved it. I would love to replace all the switches in all the mice. I will be buying more.I am very good at soldering and de-soldering surface mounted components (usually bigger though). These were difficult. The pin extends pretty much the entire diameter of the hole and de-soldering is very difficult.I ultimately had to break away the switch and pull the pins out individually. I'm sure there is a technique to it that I haven't mastered yet. I can de-solder an entire keyboard with mechanical switches very fast and remove all the solder on the first try about 97% of the time or so. I would love to hear someone chime in with their technique.

They need to be soldered
I don’t know why I didn’t realize this at first. Don’t buy if you don’t have a soldering iron or buy one at the same time.

Works well, a bit louder and more tactile than stock switch
I used one of these (Micro Switch Microswitch Switches for Razer Logitech Apple MS Mouse Qty 5 D2FC-F-7N(10M)) on my Logitech MX Anywhere 2 left mouse button after it started double clicking. I've owned this mouse since March of 2017, and I really like it, so I wanted to repair it.The switch works well, but it's still day one. I'll update my review if/when the switch fails. From what I could tell, these were the exact same as the stock switches in my MX Anywhere 2 mouse, but noticeably louder/more tactile than the right button switch, which I didn't replace. This could be due to wear and tear on the right button switch. You could probably dampen the noise a bit with a piece of tape if it bothers you.
