YGEOMER Silicone Soap Molds, 1pcs 38oz Large Size Rectangular Loaf Mold with Plastic Scraper for Handmade Soap Making

I got these because I didn't want mold that needed a wood support, and because I didn't want tall skinny bars of soap. These make great 3.5x2.5" bars. Unmolding takes a bit of patience, but that's true with any mold. I don't like that fragrance tends to stick to them, but I imagine that happens with any kind of silicone mold. Luckily the scent doesn't transfer to other soaps.

This was my first time using a silicone loaf mold, and it performed well. You will have to judge your un-molding time based on the recipe you are using, whether it is a softer or harder soap. The outer ribbed sides give it decent support, and I didn't have any difficulty un-molding the soap. I did not use the plastic cutter that was included as I have sharp metal cutters, so I cannot give a review on that. Overall, the price was decent and the mold performed well.

Un-molded my first batch in this mold this morning and immediately ordered 2 more. Soap came out perfectly and did not grab at the corners like some of my other silicone loaf molds do. Sturdy enough that it doesn't need any support at all. For the person who said they couldn't get their soap out without a knife...try using sodium lactate in your cooled lye water. Makes for a much harder bar and releases from molds super easy.

Bought this to try & make my own soap! I made Honey coconut and oat goat milk soap. I loved The mold it worked well & came with a little soap slicer piece! Matched description well!

This was my 1st time making melt and pour soap so I wasn't really sure what to expect. This mold was great though. Very sturdy yet it was also very easy to take the hardened soap out. The plastic soap cutter that came with it was not too great. It DID cut the soap but I went and bough a metal wavy cutter and it as much easier to cut the soap.

I have purchased molds like these from other places and these are every bit as good or better, and cost less than the ones I purchased somewhere else. I initially purchased 2 so I could see how they were constructed, and immediately purchased 4 more once I saw how durable they were built. I also plan on purchasing at least 6 more in the near future.

It was smaller than I thought, but I made about seven bars, so it actually holds a good amount. I found the soap was easy to remove, I did not get frustrated, and I did not have to line it with anything. Very pleased with my purchase.

Thick, sturdy, inflexible, and the sides 'do not' bow; however, due to these fabulous attributes, I can't get my soap out of the mold without damaging it. Back to finding the perfect mold that is flexible, but doesn't stretch, bubble, or bow... Suggestions anyone? Thanks!
