Its a battery, Its Affordable.
Reviewing pictures on camera, and full zoom on bright days, eats up a charge. Have this battery and a canon battery, name brand seems to last slightly longer. But I Haven't needed a 3rd battery yet. I can get through a days picture taking no problem.

Caveat Emptor
Too good to be true. I was lured in by the low price and good reviews, but it failed miserably. After the initial charge, the battery discharged completely in three days after I shot maybe 4 pictures. When I tried to recharge, it wouldn't accept a charge. Stick with the Canon battery.
