good product
Easy install; worked just fine

Nice price and easy to use/install.
Easy to install based on my plumbing. I installed upside down on the cold water inlet to my tankless. Charged it to the incoming static water pressure (65psi). Turned the water on and now when I turn on my cold water in the kitchen in the morning, it is no longer warm. Two+ years later, I installed a 2 gal POU water heater for my whole-house humidifier since the humidifier wouldn't activate the whole house (a good thing). Noticed the cold water from the kitchen faucet getting warm again. Checked the expansion tank pressure and it was low so I recharged to 65 psi.

Easy to install. Shipped fast. Works great.
Per code I need to add a thermal expansion tank to my plumbing when installing a new water heater. Great price and easy to install. Set up Per instructions that were easy to follow. I looked at many expansion tanks and this is a great value.

Good replacement, great price to!
$12 cheaper than locally with free shipping. Replacement for bad 10 yr old Watts expansion tank. Eastmans tank was precharged at 44 psi, charged to house static pressure of 68 psi. Left tank overnight to check pressure again, good to go. Teflon taped this new tank 3 times, but had a small leak from brass fitting on pipe. Went back out and came back with "Oatey Fastape" and "Rectorseal Tru-Blu Pipe Thread Sealant". The Oatey Fastape is grey in color and feels a bit thicker than regular teflon tape. Cleaned brass fitting threads on pipe with wire pipe brush. Coated the Oatey Fastape threads on tank with Rectorseal Tru-Blu Pipe Thread Sealant, tightened in... no leaks. Believe with regular cheap teflon tape, you need maybe 20 wraps of it, completely covering all threads. I only made maybe 6-8 wraps with regular teflon.

Did what I needed plus
Just installed this over the weekend. In a 30 year old RV with the old polybutylene pipe. I have been have more sudden leaks lately, and haven’t had time to re-pipe the entire coach. I put a water pressure gage on the system, the variable speed pump would kick on at 25, be steady at 48, and then, when the faucet was shut off, the pressure would kick to 70 static, and stay there. I wanted to prevent the final spike. I installed this Accumulator charged to about 45-48psi. Not only is there no shut-off pressure spike, it goes to a static at about 48-50 psi, no spike to 70. Less pounding and pressure on the old pipes. Side benefit, the variable pump does not start pumping immediately when you use a faucet or toilet. Less on and off.

So Far So Good
I should note that the first one sent was damaged (dented) in shipping. Not damaged in shipping to me, but apparently these are shipped at some point without the protective outer shipping box. The regular product box inside the Amazon box was all ripped and tank dented. I then saw the damaged box had a shipping label addressed to the warehouse. It should not have then been packed and sent to a customer. Anyway, I won't reduce the product rating because of something like that. The replacement is working fine so far. I tested pressure and added a little more to 50 PSI with basic bike tire foot pump. Install was easy, because I was able to simply screw it into an unused backyard spigot/bib location in a secluded and hidden location on the back of the house. (These only need to be placed/connected to the house plumbing, after the reducer.) Before install, my 50 PSI house pressure was going up to 130 PSI when the water was being heated and until water was turned on after to relieve it. (The water heater would make knocking sounds when this pressure was relieved.) Now, with this tank installed it only gets to 52 PSI through the whole heating phase. If anyone gets an abnormal gush of water sometimes when they turn on the water in the house, they likely have this thermal expansion and need a tank like this.

No more hot water expansion in the cold water pipe first thing in the morning. Also got rid of water hammer I had on a particular faucet. Easy to install, just remember to properly set the pressure to match. UPDATE 2019/03/25: Six months later, I noticed small paint bubble on underside of tank. Touching it squeezed out a few drops of rusty water. Spot feels soft. Have contacted manufacturer EZ-Flo and am awaiting an answer for a warranty request. Tank is supposedly guaranteed six years. Will update here once I get an answer.

Installed this unit to smooth out water pressure fluctuations. Has worked very well so far.

Works perfectly to help maintain pressure on my hot water line in my house. I am using it to help maintain pressure inline after my on demand water heater and it has helped to maintain pressure drops from the well pump delay. It connects using a standard 3/4" NPT fitting. Would recommend and will increase rating after a year of use. Currently can recommend based on build quality and great price.

It does it job as expected. Would be great if it could come with a cheap bracket to fix it on the wall, but that does not reduce at all the overall rating of the product. Let's hope it stays good for a long time so I can just remember it after years. Good product.
