We’ve broken a couple of spades already this year. This one cost just a few of dollars more than the broken ones but WOW! what a difference. The handle is comfortable to hold, with your thumb resting comfortably on the flat orange piece on the top of the handle. The metal is solid and seems firmly attached within the handle. It is heavy and solid enough to have oomph but not so heavy it will wear your hand out to wield it.

This is a quality tool. I haven't used it because I stink at gardening. BUT my husband used it to replant a 75% off plant at Lowe's and now the plant has 3 blooms. So I'd say this trowel works miracles! If your plants look sad, this might perk 'em up!

Much superior to my older trowel which just broke. The Fisker Ergo Trowel feels comfortable in the hand and the pointed shape allows easy and deep penetration into the soil.
