Oineh Elegant Wood 12-Compartment Display Case Box with Lock and Key, Cherry

Very nice watch display and storage box for this price. Is it as good as solid hardwood boxes costing three to five times as much? No. But it's vastly superior to those fake or thin leather ones that all look rather similar...you know...the ones that are mostly stiff cardboard with a thin leather or naugehyde layer. I'm not sure what type of wood this box is made of but it feels solid and the finish on the box looks elegant. The pillows are also good quality and easy to remove. I have watches in this box ranging from 30mm to 52 mm. You can't put the really big watches (such as 50 mm and up) next to each other in this case but you can spread them out among more typical size watches. The height of the cover will also allow for fairly thick watch cases, though certainly the very biggest watches (such as the largest Invicta styles) may not work well. The cover opens and closes smoothly; the glass provides good visibility on all watches. The gold tone hardware looks okay though I think real brass would have been an upgrade. I am not certain if the hardware will keep its gold finish long term but for now it's fine. Overall, this is a very nice case that holds 12 watches. Given the quality for the price, I may got another one.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this box. The wood is solid and the glass is sturdy. The ebony finish was $20 more expensive when I ordered so I begrudgingly chose the cherry but I'm really glad I did. It is a beautiful matte finish and doesn't have that cheesy reddish color that some cherry products have. The hardware is quality as well. The way the hinges go into the box makes the lid lay flush when it is closed. I tried the lock and it worked although I don't have any reason to use it (wouldn't someone just walk off witht he entire box anyway??). The watch pillows are a little too big for some of my watches to fit around but I would rather have them too big than too small. They fit nicely in the slots so if your watch fits around them then it won't move. I searched high and low for an affordable yet quality display box for my watches and this is definitely the best I found for the cost!

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Wow they shipped it super fast. Arrived sooner than expected. Was packaged great. I opened to inspect the package. It was beautiful.Now my sweetie says that the pillows could be a little larger but that is really nit picking. He says it is wonderful. Good quality. Someone posted in the review the lock was hard to work. It really isnt. Just have to turn the key more that you think you should. Beware if you buy this for someone and they dont have enough watches to fill it. They may expect you to help fill it. Lol i would buy again

This is an excellent watch case. The craftsmanship and build quality is fantastic. The fit and finish is beautiful, and my watches look great inside. I especially like the look of the wood (which appears to be solid wood and not a veneer), and the quality of the glass. The interior has a smooth velvety fabric and the watch cushions themselves are well padded. Unlike other reviews, I have had no problem with the lock mechanism as it works well for me. The manufacturer provides two keys (one with a tassel and one without) which are metal and not plastic. A very nice touch. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of this box. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Highly recommended.

This case is fantastic, especially when you consider the price. The box itself is made of real wood and the top is made of real glass. Overall, it just looks absolutely elegant and well-made. My only complaint is that the cushions are a little too think for my watches (I don't know my wrist size, but I have rather small wrists). Something to keep in mind if you have tiny wrists. The cushions fit nice and tight in the slots, so you won't be worrying about your watches moving around in the case. Highly recommend this product!

I like the box. It holds oversize watches just fine. would be nicer with some sort of handle. Don't know why it has a lock. If someone was going to steal a watch, even with 12 watches in the thing, it still is not heavy enough to prevent someone from taking the whole box. Would rather see a handle in its place than the lock. But still a nice box.

Over the past two years, I shopped Amazon and other retailers for a nice watch case. I saw this one and hoped it was as nice as the description. When I received it I was surprisingly shocked. The case is absolutely beautiful, well made, with no flaws. Any watch from $25 to $2500 will look good in this display case. I see that others had problems with the lock. I think the lock is more decorative than functional, yet I can lock the case if I felt the need. This product is two thumbs up.

I would have given a 5 star had the compartments been just a bit wider. 44mm diver's with 4:00 crown position, Seiko 007's and 009's are fine, but anything larger sits on top of the dividers. I do have a few 46mm diver's that need to have smaller watches between them or the crowns would touch.
