Resistant - Oil resistant, slip resistant and chemical resistant. No matter the job, you can always count on these shoes to get the job done. Pair with your favorite Carhartt pants, jackets, shirts, bibs and overalls for head-to-toe work wear that will keep your body protected and allow you to get the job done right Review: Favorite work boot. - Loved these but seems like they might be out of production, are no longer available in my size. Got about 2 years out of them as my regular work boot before the heel started to separate on one, should be fixable with some glue, will keep them for dirty jobs. Wides had the perfect amount of room for my feet, plenty of toe space while staying snug on the rest of my foot. Comfortable and not too heavy. Bought the newer version that's mostly identical except with re-enforced heels and toes, while a great feature unfortunately the interior stitching for the extra material on those is stiff and uncomfortably rubs against my heel.. these were great though. Review: Pay for the comfort and quality. - No break in time needed with these, they felt great right out of the box. I’ve only worn them for about 2 weeks now and work and so far they have held up great. They fit me good (pick the size you normally wear) and are very comfortable for long hours on your feet. It is a composite toe so lighter than a steel toe which I prefer. Haven’t had any issues with water getting in the boots from rain. Also, the material on the outside is very easy to clean. I plan on buying another pair once these get too beat up whenever that may be. I’ve had other boots and the past that were cheaper but I’d always end up changing the insoles and doing everything I could to get them to be comfortable and they would always make my feet sore and blistered after long hours. These are not like that. They are expensive but you are paying for quality.

Great Boot and Quality! But Beware: Runs Large
Exactly what I was looking for in an electrical boot as not only is it certified up to 2018 code, but it looks and feels great too. There's nothing fancy about this boot, but that's not why we buy work boots anyway. This shoe is tough, rugged, comfortable, and has excellent grip on the soles. Everything I've come to expect from a Carhartt product. However, there were some minor issues while purchasing the boot. I actually had to purchase two pairs of the SAME boots before finding the right fit for this one. I've been a set 10.5/11 in boots and shoes since my body decided to give up on me and stop by growing at 6 feet tall (couldn't have just given me 2 more inches, could ya?). And never since then haven't had to wear a size 10 or 11 .5 in any shoe or boot. But with these specific boots, size 11 was absolutely enormous on my foot, and 10.5 wasn't any better. I now have a size 10, and to be honest it's still is a little large but not to the point where I feel it would be uncomfortable eventually. In fact, that little bit extra room will give plenty of space if I do need to double up on socks or wear a heavy sock. But be aware that these boots do run large and if you do not have a wider based foot it may feel as if there's too much room side to side as well. But, I've worn these boots for two days now and has not presented an issue even with feeling the extra space. All in all great boot though and considering I purchase the boot online and did not try it on in store I can't really complain about the size issue. The one issue I would mention though is that the shoe laces that come with it, although rugged, are pretty terrible at holding when you lace up. They may just need some more breaking in, but I have already bought new shoelaces that contour and hold to the boot much more firmly without slipping. Cheers!

Comfy enough for not working wear
Best work boots I’ve ever worn, including 20 years in combat boots. Total comfort and impressive durability.

CARHARTT BOOT
After using for one year couple month I personally like the boots. Reason why I like is” not that heavy, soft inside, outside sole still in great shape and most important is , it’s very comfortable. I use 8hour for 5 day for more then a year and still look good condition . This is my 2nd carhartt boot and both are very good .

These boots are amazing! I spent 5 years in the military and having to wear only a certain brand of boots messed my feet up and started making them flat. I tried all different kinds of boots after i got out. Even ranging all the way up to Double Hs and redwings. I was kinda skeptical on how long they would last working in aviation and around fuels and oils all the time but they surprising lasted longer than I thought they would. Overall these are the most comfortable boots and I'll be ordering another pair in case they decide to discontinue these. They are not waterproof but if your standing in a shallow puddle you'll be alright. The composite toe is much lighter than steal. Update...I had to warranty the first pair of boots because the sole was starting to fall apart. I contacted carhartt and they have a 1 year warranty against defects but it has to be through the company that you bought them from (amazon). Amazon was great about the return no questions asked after i plead my case they sent brand new boots with 2 day shipping. Now if these boots fail again in a short amount of time I wont be buying these again. They are still great boots and very comfortable just a little squeaky being rubber soles

Cheap leather, poor build quality, not waterproof, uncomfortable. THESE BOOTS ARE NOT GOOD.
These boots have to many problems for the cost. They take a LONG time to break in, probably two months before they felt halfway comfortable and even with being broken in they have cheap insides that will quickly shred away near the heels and they sides, by the pinkie toe but still on the foot portion. I work in a milk distribution warehouse and am on my feet all day. These are not rugged boots. Build quality is not up to that of a quality boot. The laces are mangled already and they used CHEAP leather! Who does that? The bend mark by the toes where the sole meets the leather is cracked badly, allowing cold air and liquid in. The leather chips off and looks like hell if your feet touch anything even remotely sharp or hard -in my case plastic milk crates. The lace rings are not sewn into the leather in a proportionate manner which leads to unequal pressure on different spots on the foot and around the ankle which combined with time and pressure (8-14 hour shifts) can leave some quite serious coloration and irritation of the skin. This was my first major boot purchase since some red wings I had for 10 years. I wore those down to the sole before i felt uncomfortable in them, purchasing these as a replacement. These have never been even close to comfy and they will not last nearly as long. In summation they're uncomfortable, never really get that broken in feeling, are manufactured poorly, are not waterproof, are not warm, and are made with a brittle leather. They also cause irritation to spots on the foot, ankle and top portion of the foot that I did not know could be possible simply by lacing up. Worst boots ever.

3/5 stars overall. You get what you pay for.
I have had these boots for about 10 months now and have put together my below thoughts. My use for these boots: I work primarily in an office setting, but wear safety toe boots every weekday because I need them for visiting job sites and other areas for work where safety toe boots are required. I also wear these boots whenever I am tinkering around the house, or upfield hunting. My Initial thoughts: I had to buy a $15 pair of inserts about 2-4 weeks after buying them because they were that uncomfortable for myself without them. To be fair, I have wore Irish setter boots in the past, and after about 6-8 months I usually need the inserts for them as well, but with these Carhartt boots, it was almost immediate. With the inserts, the boots are fairly comfortable and I have no issue walking in them all day. The composite toe does feel like it is starting to dig into my toes slightly, but it is not painful or too uncomfortable at this point. I am sure if I were to wear these for another 6 months, it would get worse. My thoughts on the boots quality. The bottom of the boots are holding up really well. No punctures/holes, and the wear is very minimal - again keeping in mind that I wear these 75% of the time in an office setting - so that is to be somewhat expected. The laces are honestly garbage in my experience. They have broke on me in a few spots and I should have replaced them right away, but I just never did. The composite toe works definitely works. I had a large piece of plate steel fall onto the end of my boot and experienced no pain. The boot is separating slightly at the toe portion. I believe it is called the 'welt' (not 100% sure). It is not a stitched connection, so I was not surprised when I saw start to come apart at about 4 months. The sides of these boots are pretty thin. I have not experienced any holes in the sides, but if something sharp were to hit the sides of these boots where my toes were, I don't think it would have much trouble stabbing through the leather. My closing thoughts. At about 10 months, these boots are still kicking for me. I am going to buy some new laces (should cost about $10-$15) to extend the life of these boots by hopefully a few more months. If you are looking for a less expensive pair of boots like these, I think these are a decent option IF you have your expectations set correctly and you make a few modification right away. I would recommend buying a boot insert and new laces right away. So be prepared to spend about $25-$30 right off the bat. As far as expectations go, realize you are not buying the comfiest/best boots out there, but know that these are not going to fall apart on you right away and they won't kill your feet if you get an insert. I would imagine these boots would last someone in the trades 6 months to a year, and someone in my position 1 year - 1.5 years (with the modifications I suggested). For $125 ($155 w/ my recommended additions) these boots are just fine.
