Endangered Species Dark Chocolate Bar with Raspberries (72% cocoa)

High quality, good-tasting dark chocolate. The best. Not much of a coffee flavor. Not gritty like chocolate covered coffee beans. Fair trade is important to me. Pricey and worth it.

These are my favorite Milk Chocolate bars so far! They're NOT overly sweet, they are just perfect. It's rich and smooth, and very satisfying. The Milk Chocolate one is my most favorite, and I would absolutely buy it again if it became available on Amazon. The ONLY 2 things I wish they would change: 1. Plaase make it organic 2. Please remove seed oils (seed oils are really bad for you). Other than that, this chocolate is my favorite. I will by as soon as it's available here on Amazon again :)

Let me start by saying if you're one of those chocoholics that like the sweet n sugary taste of milk chocolate, this is not for you - unless you want to take a very memorable trip to the Darkside! : ) I had the immense pleasure of tasting this chocolate because someone gave me a bar for my birthday. I shared the coveted birthday bar with my hubby and that was it...he was hooked. We searched the store it was purchased at time and time again, and although there were other types of this brand of chocolate...the "Rhino" spot was always empty on the shelf. We looked at other stores in our area and still, no luck on the elusive rhino bar...then I decided to look online and WOWZERS, there it was! My mouth was watering for that semi-sweet, not too "dry" taste with the little flecks of hazelnut just at the sight of it. I ordered a case of 12 bars for my hubby for Valentine's Day as a surprise for him and he was like a kid in a candy store...(almost literally). It's got a great "not too dry" feel on your tongue, and the flavor is phenomenal. It pairs very nicely with red wines as an after dinner treat or on it's own as you sit down to watch a movie. If you like dark chocolate and aren't allergic to hazelnuts, I'd definitely say this bar is for you. Now that I know I can purchase it at Amazon, the only problem I have is getting hubby to share his Valentine's bounty!!

This is hands-down, my favorite milk chocolate of any brand I’ve tried and that includes Godiva and the expensive varieties!!. My favorite is the milk chocolate salted caramel bar but everywhere I’ve been lately, It’s on clearance and now it doesn’t seem to be available. I hope it is not discontinued. It’s my favorite! Anyway I highly recommend any of their milk chocolate as it is rich chocolate but not so intense as dark , and yet not too sweet like so many others.

The Best Buy date was only six months. I didn’t taste any peanut butter. I could see only a small sliver of white stuff that was supposed to be peanut butter. The chocolate was kind of dark and tough… no good flavor or texture. I was disappointed.

I'm obsessed with this chocolate! I'm normally not a dark chocolate person, but in an attempt to be healthy I bought this (it was listed as #2 or 3 as one of the best fat burning dark chocolates, plus it's only 72%, so it's not too intense- just slightly bitter), and it's delicious! I usually eat three squares a day which equals 84 calories, it takes care of my chocolate cravings without breaking my calorie bank. The bar, however, is strange - it has three squares going across and five going down - so I'm not sure how you'd necessarily go about eating anything other than multiples of three without it becoming a hassle (or even half the bar, which is a serving size). Also, they're meant to be refrigerated, which also makes them a tad difficult to break up without using a serrated knife and causing a bit of a mess. That being said, I would never stray from this chocolate because of that, definitely worth the hassle!

Tried it for the first time today and liked it a lot. Slightly chalky taste but I personally love the balance between dark chocolate, mint and sweetness. Mint is mild and not cruncy. I am very happy with the purchase and will likely get another 12 pack once this is done. Awesome choice if you like dark chocolate.

One chocolate came all melted

Nice to see that some people liked the product they received. I got 2 boxes labelled with "Best Before" date earlier than the date I placed my order and wow, were they stale, discolored and tasted like cardboard. Certainly cannot recommend these when it's luck of the draw getting a quality product as advertised. Very disappointing, as I had high hopes for the product and wanted to support the 'Endangered Species' cause. Maybe try your local grocery or health food store that has implemented a working inventory control? I sent a response back to the distributor but never heard anything back, so Zero Stars unfortunately!
