Gator Cases Hard-Shell Wood Case for Standard Electric Guitars, Fits Fender Strat/Tele Style (GWE-ELEC)

Only just received it today, so can’t comment on durability, but it’s sleek and clean, feels/appears solid and well-made and it definitely fits a Fender Telecaster like a glove.

Great little case for the price. Not what I would buy if I were a touring musician playing real nice guitars, but perfect for basic protection of my basic off the shelf Jackson dinky that I do haul around once in a while. The interior padding is real nice. The smaller size fits great in cars and stuff. Looks great, latches are nice and sturdy. I love it. I generally have my guitars on stands but sometimes I like to pack one on a work trip and this is perfect

I wanted a hard shell case for my Squier Tele, but see no reason for a case to cost more than the guitar itself. This case is the perfect option. I don't need a case that can stand up to rough third-party handling. I'm doing all the transportation myself. It's solid enough to do the job, fits the guitar nice and snug and is lightweight. This is my second Gator case as I have a soft case for my acoustic bass as well. They are well made and durable enough for my needs. Great value for the money. Highly recommended if you're an advanced hobbyist like me.

PROS: This is the second of these cases I’ve bought (for other guitars), and am very pleased with the quality of these cases. They are a little heavy, but seem more than durable for local travel. NOT a road case, but a solid case nonetheless. CONS: I will say this, they can run a little small. The last one I bought for a Bass, was a snug fit, especially with the strap locks adding length overall, so give yourself a little more length when measuring. Also, the inside of the case, where the storage compartment is, sets up too high. It still fits well, but the neck rest inside the of the case, puts added pressure on the neck, but doesn’t worry me at all. Plush enough that it feels well protected. Would like to see a snap strap added for extra stability. Will buy again…cause I need another Bass….😬

I have a few Gator items. I'm happy with all the bags and cases. They're well made. It's a way to save a few bucks but not get garbage. This case is a great deal if you ask me. It's a little tight but it's works. I actually like that it's so slim. It's easier for storage and it holds my guitar with it moving around. I have the more expensive case and it's great also. I just wanted to save a few bucks so I got this one. It fits my new EVH 5150 and it also fit my Strat. I'm left handed. So its important that my cases fit universal. A lot of times you will find cases that perfectly fit right handed. You need to check if you're a lefty like me. This will do the trick though. I prefer hard cases over bags for my guitars. This is basic. Has a spot for a bit of cables or whatever. The EVH just fits. If the body was any longer it wouldn't fit. So make sure your guitar will fit. It says it's made for strat style guitars.

Yes, it technically does hold my telecaster. 1998 squier standard telecaster. It had about 1/8 of an inch of space along the side and I had to floss the strap along the side. It closes snug with no forcing closed. Satisfied customer. Definitely better than a gig bag.

Funny story, the box it came in had a huge FRAGILE sticker on it. Not really confidence building right from the start. Opening it up, it's a wooden case, kind o0f thin, honestly, but sturdy enough for the guitar to survive a drop of 5 or 6 feet, but I wouldn't test that theory with any of my expensive guitars. It looks really nice brand new, I wonder how it'll stand up to scuffs and the like. The padding it about as thick as their gig bags, and add in a thin layer of wood about the same depth, and you have this guitar case. It fits Strat's and Tele's just fine, any kind of arch top electric guitar will not fit, Gator sells cases for each style of guitar, and this one is S and T, archtop are completely different. I bought this during Amazon days and felt it was a great deal on sale; full price is a fair to good deal for the case.

This holds the guitar without any problems. It has a snug fit. Not to heavy and certainly easy to carry or slide into a car. Very pleased with this purchase

Wirklich kompletter Schrott, super schlechte Qualität, dünnes Material, schlechte Passgenauigkeit an dem Verschlüssen. Keine Ahnung warum Gator sowas überhaupt verkauft. Dazu kamen auch noch beide der bestellten Koffer beschädigt an, einer komplett für den Schrott und der andere mit Abschürfungen rundum.

Excelente estuche, cumple la función de proteger a la guitarra al 100.
