I thought I would be looking for a long time for a replacement brush for my old Neato vacuum. The part was the first thing that came up in my search, the description made it clear that the part works with the entire series, and the price was half what I expected with how companies are using this terrible inflation to increase prices by 50% or higher. Best of all this Seller had it delivered the next day. I thought my old vac was a goner but it's as good as new.

I fit perfectly into my robot vac and gave it new life.

The original brush on my Neato D6 broke and Neato is no longer in business so I could not get an OE part. This is a different shape but it fit well and mu vaccuum seems happy!

I had ordered this exact same brush a few years ago and they worked perfectly. This time I put the brush in and in a few days got a “brush stuck” error message. So, I bought another and it immediately gave me the “stuck brush” message. The brush motor burned out from trying to turn a stuck brush. Found a replacement new motor for this xv-21 and got the same error message when I put in the brush. Close examination shows that the2 brushes both are the wrong size (too short) and the brush is too flexible to stay properly aligned. Odd, since I have bought these before. I managed to shim the brush so it doesn’t jam but don’t know how long that will last. Can’t recommend purchase unless you are handy with appliances. Oh, I replaced the brush originally because Neato ran through a dog accident and I needed to replace the brush.

Does a good job. Was very loud on hardwood floors on first run, but much quieter on subsequent runs. Good replacement for OEM brush that has worn out.

Many of the Neato vacs are experiencing a wearing down of the gear that drives the brushes to the point where they will no longer spin the brushes and replacements parts are $40 plus complete disassembly of the unit. Mine experienced this but a friend, who bought his on the exact same day as mine, still has a gear that is pristine.Come to find out, he only uses genuine NEATO replacement parts so I took a look at his brush and noticed that the female end that mates with the driven gear on the vacuum cleaner was deeper than on mine. That meant it could bit on more of the surface and so was not as likely to wear.Well, I ordered this replacement brush along with a new gear. This replacement brush has the deeper female side and the new fear is machined aluminum versus plastic so it's not wearing down no matter what. So using these generic parts in the past has cost me more than I saved but at least people buying them going forward are getting a more properly constructed product.If you've worn down the gear as I did, do a search for the replacement part on a certain auction site and look for the seller who has the machined aluminum product. He charges the same as the guys 3D printing them at home out of the 3D filament which is generally softer than what the product was made of originally although there are sturdier filaments that would produce a better product but aluminum pretty much insures it isn't going to wear down.

Durable, as this thing ran in my vacuum for 5 years of every other day use. And is just now starting to break the fins.

Working perfectly with my Neato D5.

The bearings had failed in my original brush that came with the D5. I ordered these as they were cheaper than OEM and had good reviews overall. In my Neato D5 the brush was a perfect fit and did not rattle. In fact it was very smooth operating. The vacuum performed as it did when it was new. I hope it will last a while but price wise it was in between the cheapest and the most expensive. I placed the new and old brushes side by side and they looked practically identical.

I'm very happy with this purchase.

This fit my D10 Neato but did not clean the carpet. I ran the program 3 times and each time the bin was empty. I ordered the original Neato brush and after running the program once the bin was full.

Fits perfectly in my D3 botvac!
