This formula is wonderful! It does a great job providing nourishment to the locs with aloe while also helping tighten them up with sea salt. The essential oil added provides a refreshing smell as well.

This spray is really a good product for tightening up your locks, and nourishing your scalp. I just love the smell I chose and how it makes my locks feel. Really great choice.

I was a like sceptic about this at first, but I needed to find a more accessible product to do my sons hair. I washed his hair and did his hair wet, and sprayed his hair with this product. It does dry a little fast, but all I needed to do was spray a little more. I find the smell is just fine, and not strong at all. I don’t like the fact that his hair got very stiff and dry like a strong protein treatment. The stiffness helped with tightening the parts of his dreds that were puffy, but the spray took the softness away. As for the solution in the bottle it settles at the bottom so you will need to shake it, or stir it with a tail comb tip. It has a safety lock for when you aren’t using it (which I like for the sake of having my younger one around). Overall I would recommend this if you need something to quickly spruce up your loose dreds, but I wouldn’t use it each time you’re touching up.

I ordered this product last year in February bc my microlocs would not lock. I started using this stuff ( smells good) and it helped me out a lot. My locs started budding fast. And I speeded through the ugly phase. Yep I said it the ugly phase. Now I’m having to order more for my daughter. Don’t buy that locsanity crap. This is it. And your hair will smell great.

I was hesitant about purchasing this product because it was pretty expensive for something that i couldnt smell before buying. The product smells great! it also last a long time, so a little goes a long way. Not sure if its the power of suggestion but my locs do appear a little less frizzy. Ive grown my hair out for a year and then locked my hair and its been 5 months, so my locs are i guess teenagers now. I have a mix of 3c/4a black(the color) hair. I mention the color of my hair because i will have to say that the product did flake on my locs. This was disappointing because i used it right after a retwist. It didnt flake after the first application... at least i dont recall, but i definitely noticed later on, after only using this product, that it was flaking. Im also not entirely sure how hydrating it is because it seems as though there is some dry scalp along my hairline, which ive never experienced, so that's no fun.. For me id probably not purchase it again, but maybe use it until it runs out as a loc perfume (and because its so expensive).PROS:it seemed to "tighten" my teenager locsIt smells greatthe product arrived sooner than expectedThe bottle and sprayer is really nice, will be re-purposing thatCONS:Although it smells great, the smell is a little potent. I have been wanting to try the infamous dolly locks products for a long time now, and finally made the purchase (I’m always about that instant gratification so it’s hard to order when things aren’t prime haha). Let me tell you, so far this product is absolutely amazing. I ordered the coconut lime tightening spray and the rosemary peppermint refreshening spray. This is just my first impression as I haven’t had them long enough to use them frequently. The tightening spray feels much like a sea salt spray, which could work for or against you depending on hair type. I have a fairly oily type scalp, but that has changed a bit since getting dreadlocks. So far this is working very well, it is a noticeable difference after spraying. My dreads feel a little drier just after the spray dries but also tighter because of it if that makes sense. It straight up smells like a margarita which is always a fun time. The rosemary mint refreshening spray is basically a 401k away from asking me to marry it. It’s so cooling on the scalp and smells like a crisp, Christmas Eve night minus the family monopoly game your uncle insisted on playing that has been going on for 3 hours. Do I abuse this new hair fragrance power? Possibly. Do I use too much of this product because I love it so much? Definitely.

Works as described, smells great and won't cause build up. Really tightens them wherever you are in your journey, but I really think it would've helped me more in the 1st year had I'd know about it and used it back then.But after 3yrs of forming my dreads, I just occasionally spray on my fresh roots that are forming more than the entire length of my hair. Smells so good it's hard not to want it everywhere though!My dreads are bleached blonde and already fairly dry and tight, this spray maybe too drying of an effect for bleached hair so beware and use sparingly.I watered mine down a bit w bottled water, helped it not be as extreme on the drying effect.I will buy it again and highly recommend it to young dreads after and in between maintenance bc it works to mature locks fast.
