a little surprised but it came quickly
not exactly what i expected—thought there would be easier access to auditory content. Also, i paid around $17 i think and the price on cover (paid by Amazon) was $3!

Updated version is hardly updated
This is almost no different than the prior edition. I was hoping for updated practice. All they did was take the dates off the sources same sources they used in the earlier version.

No audio files to practice
This book is advertised as having audio files for the practice essays, accessible through a QR code. However, when you access the site through the QR code, the audio files are not available. Total waste of money. Don't buy this book if you actually need to practice your French listening skills.

Not worth the money
Turned out to be essentially the previous edition with just a new cover. Additionally the pages in the middle had a huge gash in them.

This book is aimed at the American market and was of no use tome and my UK students. All the different sections wet a waste of time. Also A maxim failed to say it would take a very long time to arrive.
