This is a real outdoorsmans knife, made to last so check out the reviews and get yourself one soon.
This knife is still in the honeymoon phase with me and has seen no real action. I studdied up on it before buying though. Best deal for the money and sheath and what it can do. It's a hefty piece of steel. Sharp. Well balanced. Nice jimping on top. Good fingerchoil below for choking up. Solid feel in hand with g10 handles / orange. Edge will need oil so as not to rush or pit. I haven't used mine yet for the camp but it's good to know it's one less thing to add to my list, that I've got a serious knife for all tasks. Really liking it and it's looks. Everyone that holds it says wow.

You will not loose your main survival tool in the jungle with this one
This knife is not bright to fight zombies, it is that way so you will not loose it if dropped in the jungle. Unless you are in a war or something like that, you will usually want to be found in a survival situation. I do not have any use for a cammo knife; I want a bright knife like this one so I do not loose my main survival tool in a dense jungle. (Panama). It is a heavy knife if you are planning on doing ultra light backpacking, but if you want a real knife that will last forever, keep a sharp edge after abuse, cut your way trough a jungle almost like a miniature machete, baton wood like an axe and look good enough if the zombie apocalypse comes, this is the knife for you. I am a frequent backpacker and this is my knife of choice. When I go ultra light backpacking I take a BK-11 Becker Necker neck knife instead.

Awesome knife...not-so-awesome sheath
ESEE knives have quickly become my favorite. I love the color schemes, durability, design, and quality. They can chop branches and stay pretty sharp...sharpenings aren't required very often. The blade and handle on the 6P are slightly thinner than those of the ESEE 5, and the knife overall is not as hefty or meaty. The knife is awesome, but the sheath...it lacks the quality of those that came with the other ESEE's I have (3, 5, Candiru). For a knife of its size (and price tag), the quality of the sheath should be that of the 5, and not the 3 or the Candiru Still, it's a great knife.

Get this for sure- Gabe me instant tree felling skillz
This thing is beautiful. Super sharp and top notch quality. Will def shop ESEE again. It’s a big bastard too much bigger than expected but a welcome sight. Great for whatever needs cut up. Amazon boxes, Camping, hunting, or maybe be the weird guy that just perpetually sharpens his knives but never seems to use them- all good. Maybe Take it on the family picnic to fight off pesky grizzly bears Should your beard not be enough. The colors will be super handy should you loose track of it while fighting off zombie hoards. That bright orange will all but scream your name from under the pile of dispatched walkers - allowing its recovery for further tactical badness.

Great Knife But Not For Food
I bought the ESEE 6 with the orange grips and Venom Green blade. I reluctantly returned it because of ESEE's warning found prominently inside the box saying the coating was not certified food safe, and then went on to discuss the coating and food. I bought the knife to replace an axe and hunting knife while hunting. Cutting up meat will be part of the tasks the knife will need to perform. So it didn't fit my needs. Too bad, because except for the food warning and unsuitability it would be perfect. Of course I could brush off the coating, but then it wouldn't be the stand out color I wanted. Too bad. Otherwise the knife is great, both stout and light, and would easily replace the axe/knife combo I now carry.

I am so glad I got this knife
I am so glad I got this knife, it does what it should and not had to worry about it at all. Only cons: sap gets stuck in the texturing of the the green which then makes the knife bind up in the wood, bit if you hit it hard enough it will be sure to go through, coating makes it a little hard to struck a spark (fix: using a high grit file file down an inch of bare metal so there's a little bite when you strike) after a while the sheath does break in and can be a little lose I.e. if your constantly jumping around or hanging upside down then it may fall out Pros: everything, coating last a long time, good ergo, good colour (the Orange makes it easyvto see/spot/find), lanyard hole is huge, full flat ground helps for the size/width of the blade

bushcraft in color style
this bushcraft knife is high heat treated witch makes it virtually indistructable. if you thump the blade with your finger you will hear a tuning fork sound. this means it has a high heat treatment. i cleared out some vines on a fence in the backyard and this knife sliced and hacked supremely. theres really nothing it cant handle. its also perfectly balanced witch means you can use as a throwing knife in case of bobcat coyote or even snake attacks. the vibrant green and orange makes this knife very hard to misplace in the wilderness. also you might want to buy the molle hookup for this baby because all it comes with is a sheath and belt clip. the clip is sturdy but inefective. the molle is very reasonable for this knife. with molle you can position this thing in any angle you want on your body or backpack. all in all the best purchase i have ever made. esee is the way to go with theyre lifetime no bs garuntee. buy this you will be happy that you made a wise decission.
