Monstera Deliciosa Variegated

So- this is my DREAM PLANT and I was nervous ordering from overseas all the way to the U.S. However, this price was too good to pass up. The plant arrived with 4 leaves (one with slits) and baby damaged leaf and some root rot. This is to be expected because it’s coming such a long distance the seller has to make sure the roots don’t die so I was prepared for that and damage during transport is normal in the world on online plant shopping. That said- she’s doing great! She’s pushing out a new leaf which has some damage but that may be my doing or a result of bruising during transport. Either way, I’m 100% happy. I placed her in a mix of potting mix, perlite and orchid bark and misted her for two weeks before giving her a traditional water. The baby leaf that was damaged did die, but all in all- very very pleased.

Tough to ship fromOut of the country but fingers crossed after losing a few leaves she will come back!
