duraflame Firestart Indoor/Outdoor Firelighters, 24 pack

I've been using these for camping for a while. The box contains a large amount of them, so it lasts a long while with a minimal cost per piece. Each piece does well at helping start fires when you don't have everything you may already need - dry wood, smaller to larger, to help build a bed of suitable coals for a long-lasting cooking or entertainment fire. It can be added and lit in the package (I cheat, I know) to speed up the process.

Works great for starting the outdoor fires in our fire pit. Burn long enough to really get the wood going.

like these fire starter bricks for their value foremost and the select a size feature. Very dense compact material that holds shape while also being easy to break apart and crumble, you decide the size and application. I use a 2"x2" chunk in combination with a 1/4 piece of an alternate fire starter square and the reason being is the squares lite up quicker and easier but do not last as long, however they provide enough flame to get the brick started and once the brick is lit it provides a large flame that is hot enough to light small logs, so no need for kenneling. So a 2"x2" chunk broke off of 1/2 a brick gives me about 6 starters x 2 bricks in a pack = 12/pack x 5 packs you do the math for $13 thats a great value.. when you combine this with a fire starter square cut in quarter chunks... If you want to bypass getting another to get lit but again once lit they do the job well, and the value is the best I have experienced. Also the possibility to crumble up into crumbs and wrap sawdust around greasy paper towel etc... or what ever floats you're boat but a very versatile product.. I think is worth the $13 investment to try out for yourself.. They work for me and are budget friendly

Hands the THE BEST fire starters ever. These smaller ones are all You need for a good fire. Just light it and walk away and let it do it’s thing. Guaranteed No hassle at all. Best ones I’ve ever used

The company went from 6oz to 4.5oz starter bricks. The 6 oz starters were priced the price of now 4.5oz product, $15 for 24 pieces. The product is great for starting fires in my wood stove and fire pit even with large pieces of wood. I just think that 3rd parties selling the 6oz product for $79 per 24 box is a consumer ripoff. Be aware the $15 offering works fine, but don’t waste your money on third party sellers who are trying to rip consumers off for 1.5 oz more product per fire starter. Shame on the manufacturer too for selling 25% less for same price as before. Caveat Emptor!!!!
