Rabbit Hole Hay - Ultra Premium Alfalfa Hay for Small Pets - 10 lb Box - Hand-Sorted Freshness

My buns are pretty finicky about their alfalfa hay, and while we used to purchase from another vendor, their quality had gone down so much so that I have an entire 25lbs box in my garage sitting untouched because none of my buns would eat it. I searched around and while Rabbit Hole alfalfa is more expensive I figured it was worth a shot. Well, I'm definitely happy to report it was worth the cost as the alfalfa is fresh and green and the buns can't get enough. I purchased Rabbit Hole's timothy hay as well since we like to provide a mix of hay for our buns go crazy for it as well. Will keep purchasing Rabbit Hole moving forward and hopefully their quality doesn't decline like the other companies.

Quality is inconsistent. This last bag is not good. My chinchilla won't eat it at all. This hay is supposed to be premium and is expensive. And can't return. I'm moving on to another brand.

This alfalfa is the BEST! I dont know what makes it do much different than all the others I have tried but as soon as I open the bag my baby bunny comes running. This has helped me train him as well. At first I was a little disappointed to see how much it was compared to the others but IT IS WORTH IT! I call it bunny crack. lol. Anytime I want to get him to go back into his hutch I simply shake this bag and he comes running like a dog! Thank you for w wonderful product! I would splurge the extra few bucks and buy your bunny this amazing product (before I buy them all!) Thank you!!

This is my 2nd purchase of the Rabbit Hole Hay. My Gizzy is so addicted to this hay, it is really insane. When his 1st box went empty I went off to Petco to purchase the Timothy Hay I fed him before ever buying this brand and he refuse to eat the Timothy Hay. I rushed to Amazon to repurchase this brand... Thank you for the fast shipping and awesome product.

Overall the quality of this hay is very high. We have ordered 5lb packages of this hay in the past and it has been great - very green, fresh, fragrant. I am unhappy/frustrated to report that the 10lb bag received today is filled with so much dead hay that at least half of it is probably unusable. My rabbit generally adores this brand, but we are very disappointed in this first bigger order. Spending $45 on a bag of straw instead of a bag of rich alfalfa hay was a bit of a letdown, though Rabbit Hole Alfalfa is very kindly replacing it for us.

I was so disappointed with the hay as you see on the picture. This hay were so brown and looked very old! Nothing like they had described on the detail at all. Also, it is very expensive, I would expect a better quality. My rabbit didn’t not enjoy them! Not recommended!!!

I purchased this hay for my young bunny. The box I received had quite a lot of dusty and broken up pieces of hay, as opposed to longer pieces. That makes it harder for my bunny to consume as it simply disappears into her litter box. I am trying a new brand next time.

The quality is really top notch! It smells so fresh you would think it was just plucked from the fields. I was buying oxbow brand before this aND oxbowe doesn't even come close to the same quality. Also, I like that the strands of hay are not small wimpy strands, no, these are at LEAST between 1- 2ft long. DO NOT HESITATE, YOUR BUNNIES(or whomever you're using it for) WILL LOVE YOU FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!
