Looks pretty but poor design

I thought this would be a beautiful shoe, but there are two big downsides to the design: (1) the criss-crossing straps are sewn together where they cross each other, so there's no room for the straps to move into a natural position on your foot. This makes them form slightly odd ripples or puckers where one strap is tight and another is not. (2) It's impossible for your smallest toe to be contained by the straps, which makes the shoe look bad and feel very uncomfortable.

straps are a bit lose at the ankle areaand the toe area is a bit tight, i wear a 91/2 and i bought a 10 and it didnt fit as expected

EU 42 does NOT equal US 11

I am not sure who did the sizing conversion, but these shoes were a US 9 NOT US 11. US 11 is EU 44. I have bought many of shoes with EU sizing. What a disappointment and waste. Returning them.
