Before I met my husband, he had persistent digestive/stomach/acid reflux problems, including bleeding ulcers. At the time, he was treated medically and left taking Prilosec for 11 years. If he missed one day he was terribly uncomfortable. With months of effort and a great aloe vera formula (and a few other things) we got him healed and on no medication, and he was good for years. This year he had an accident, and after they gave him pain meds in the hospital, even though he quit taking them very quickly, he was back to square 1, and way worse than he was when we met, so we needed a more aggressive treatment. I had researched mastic gum pretty thoroughly, and had settled on that combined with manuka honey and continuing with the aloe. Most of the mastic gum products I found that looked to be good quality were very expensive, and we were really stretched thin, since few of our healthcare choices are covered by insurance. This one looked like it was good quality, but was much more affordable, so I decided that we'd try it first. I always go for quality supplements, but there was no point in paying more if we didn't have to. I'm very happy that we bought this product. We followed a therapeutic protocol for treating ulcers with mastic gum, and it took a little patience, but he got back to normal relatively quickly, with no prescription medications or over the counter acid products. Currently we are gradually stopping use, finishing one more bottle one dose a day, but we are very pleased and would definitely recommend this product and use it again if necessary.

I started taking this mastic gum along with physicians choice probiotic exactly a month ago. For years I've suffered from acid reflux and nausea almost 24/7 no matter my diet. I take one of these in the AM on an empty stomach and the probiotic in the PM before bed. When I tell you this combo has changed my life, I mean I've done a complete 180. The mastic gum did take some getting used to. I started out taking one at a time to see how I'd react and right away it would make me a little dizzy but noticeably less nauseated- and I was willing to keep being dizzy just so I wouldn't be nauseous. The dizziness wore off after about a week so I upped the dose to the recommended 2 per day, but then the dizziness persisted all day so I dropped it back down to 1 per day and find that worked best for me. Now a month in and I set a reminder on my phone to make sure I don't miss taking this mastic gum or my probiotic as I swear these have changed my life for the better. I do still get nauseated when I eat certain triggering foods, like garlic, tomatoes, too many sweets in one day, etc. But for the first time in years, if I get heartburn and I take an antacid, it actually does what it's supposed to. I don't care to break into the heartburn world regularly but sometimes it's hard to say no to the pizza when that's all that's available. I would 100% recommend this to anyone with nausea, heartburn/acid reflux, or someone who suspects they have stomach ulcers. The only reason I'm rating 4 stars is because of the dizziness at first.

I received this on friday. I have h ployri .. And I get sick for up to two weeks straight. Using this along with licorice root that I also received same day. I'm feeling like a new person. Nausea has diminished. Stomach is 95% better. I'm going to take everyday with probiotic and gelatin capsules mastic gum,organic licorice root.. If u suffer belly troubles these 4 things will help you get back to normal fast. I'm happy. Update. I ran out of the mastic gum. Big dummy me. Feels better. " oh I will order it soon". Well...im back to vomiting several times a day. Wich is a kick in the butt. to prove to me This stuff works. !!! It truly works!!

This stuff is magic. I have had an ulcer since I was 16 and in the last year it has become quite a problem. I have taken it for about 10-12 days now and I have not had any problems with my ulcer since the fourth day. I am eating regularly without pain, eating just about anything I desire and nothing has affected my ulcer including hot/spicy foods which are my favorite. This product is a waste of your money. After successfully treating my stomach issues a while back with Nutricology Mastic Gum, I realized how wonderful pure Mastic resin is. As another reviewer has stated, this mastic has zero scent, a huge red flag. It does absolutely ZERO. Which is a shame for anyone who buys this as the first mastic they try, only to be turned off by it not working, when, in fact real mastic does work. I have no idea how it has any 5 star ratings, these people must be paid. I bought is based on reviews, hoping to save money, since the Nutricology brand is double the cost. But it is worth it. I suffered stomach issues that no doctor could diagnose, I had a clear endoscopy, no H. Pylori, and biopsy was all clear. I eat very healthy, but, I knew my stomach was off-I stopped being able to tolerate different foods and anything spicy. Wine would give me days of uncomfortable bloating, burping and some nausea. I tried zinc carnosine, charcoal, slippery elm, marshmallow root, deep breathing, yoga, and yet the only thing that made me forget I had any issue was taking real Mastic Gum. Now, I always have it. Do your own research, I'm sure there are other brands that have the same resin component that Nutricology has, I just haven't tried them. I take two at night and two in the morning on an empty stomach. After two months you will eradicate whatever issue you have. If it comes back, you can treat it again. The first time I eradicated it for a year, now I am back on it, although I feel 100 percent better, I take it to maintain it until two months is up, since that is how it has been proven to work best via peer reviewed studies. No side effects, and cheap in comparison to an endoscopy! Good luck, and make sure the mastic you get has a pine like scent.

The products seem to work--had used it once before. When I ordered it again, the bottle was already open (no safety seal) and two capsules (of58 of the 60) were missing! Apparently, someone wanted to "try" the product before the customer could receive it. Now I have to look for another affordable product because I'm not sure about its handling. . .if the capsules weren't tampered with. I'm sending it back!

I was worried at first because I wasn't sure if "gum" was going to gum me up. At least not with magnesium and cascarra sagrada. If your like me and walked themselves into a paradox by simultaneously being able to eat the hottest and spiciest food in the world but accidentally removed the lining from your intestines with antibiotics and raw garlic which then created a series of internal fissures and are now left wondering why you can no longer eat anything without causing a painful backup then this may help you. I will update later if I can finally "fix" this on my own and tell you how I did it.

i bought this and started taking one cap early empty stomach and one at night , it's been 3 days and i am feeling too good ! my belly burning sensation is low now and i feel better , hope that it permanently cures up the issues of my gut !

Helps with gut healing. No weird taste and smell. Easy to swallow
