GP50BK Complete Junior Drum Set (Black, 3-Piece Set)

This drum set is awesome and I got it for my son for Christmas and he hasn't stopped playing it yet. It is very durable, directions can be confusing at first but was able to put it together. When the box came it was packaged nicely and it is quite enjoyable. Not big enough for anyone else but a child to play on it. Awesome Drum Set!! It was worth the money and the wait.

My niece loves this kit! It has held up fairly well, especially considering the amount of abuse it gets. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions were poorly written. Still, it isn't hard to figure out, especially if there's a drummer in the family.

I purchased this set for my 7 going on 8 year old son. It came in the mail 3 days after purchase. Everything was packaged tightly and wrapped good. All of the parts were in perfect condition & came with very easy assembly directions. I also received an email from the seller with extra directions & tips. The set is very high quality & sturdy! My son has ADHD & this set is great for his level of energy & has provided an artistic outlet for him. The set is rather petite as it is for a young child so it does not take up much space at all. I am very happy with my purchase & would highly recommend this product & seller!

This is a great junior drum set. It is well built with quality materials. The instructions for assembly aren't fantastic, but I was able to get it put together in about 45 minutes. I would recommend this set for children ages five to ten. Any younger and they could get hurt with moving parts, and any older they would most likely need a full sized drum set.

The picture that is shown looks just like any other of the full size drums. I was going by the fact that it say's 3-8, which my son has just turned 8, so i thought this would be perfect. Because i told him if he dedicates himself or at least continues to on a regular basis practice, I would get him a full size set. He is already to big for it and might as well let his little sister have it. Bottom line it should be called a toddler set not a junior set.

my nephew loved it. i bought it for his 2nd birthday. he's turning 4 soon and he still loves it. i was surprised at how high the quality was. i was actually playing this. a lot of adults over 130 pounds were playing it and the throne supported the weight. so he's had this drumset almost 2 years and adults have beat on it as well as all the kids that have come to his house and nothing on it has broken. amazing. i was gonna get him a Guitar Center Jr drumset for his 4th bday because i figured this one wouldnt hold up, but i'm pleasantly surprised that its still in good shape, so I'm gonna save myself the $300, there's no need to get him a new set. this little guy has been very sturdy. i'm very happy. as far as set up, i cant really give an un-biased opinion becuase i've been setting up adult sized drumsets most my life so i already know how it works, so for me it was easy and i had it all put together in about 10 minutes

For 2 months now my 3 year-old has consistently beat on this drum set and it takes all the punishment he dishes out. The set is very sturdy and sounds great. The only complaint I have is that the base drum legs don't work well so I had to use wooden blocks to keep everything upright.

My two and a half year old son has been asking for a drum set for almost a year now and this fit the bill perfectly. Arrived in a smaller box than I'd expected, and there was a lot of assembly required, but all the pieces were there, thankfully. Assembly took about an hour, including adjustments to accommodate the size of the user. So far we've had it a week and he is in heaven. Hopefully it will hold up over time, as we plan to adjust it as he grows.
