UCHIDA Deco Color Extra Fine Paint Marker Art Supplies, Blue

Easily the best paint pen I’ve ever used. The EF tip is super hard to find in oil paint pens. Ink is quite permanent and looks great. Smells a bit weird (has xylene). Perfect for torqued bolts’ witness marks. It is a little delicate so you must be careful with the nib. Lots of people experience it leaking ink everywhere. I wouldn’t daily carry this. It sits on the shelf in my garage. It also has an oddly narrow temperature storage range.

The ink does tend to run out of the pen when the tip is engaged, but luckily its easy to spread & fill in space. I bought the light pink and was worried that I might have to apply two coats, but the color is very opaque & covers well. I was changing a color from peach to baby pink & coverage was very important. It really did the job! I'll buy more pens if I need a specific color. I love the fine tip!

I don’t know what I expected exactly, but this pen works very well. I love it.

Works perfect. I bought 4 pens. Two for my sister and two for me. The tip of one pen came out, but my sister pushed it back in and it works fine. No problem with my pens. Used it to add yellow dots to my woodcarved fish...still working on it but done with the yellow dots.

When it works it’s ok, but the tip is way too loose is practically falls out, so it’s hard to get it to work. Even when you do too much comes out, so it defeats the purpose of being “fine tip”. Not the best quality control. Also there’re no refunds/returns for the product

As long as you follow the simple instructions you should have no problems with this pen. I’ve had a few leak on me, in the beginning but not anything major. I have found if these are kept in an area with higher humidity than normal they do tend to appear dried out & unable to flow as needed. Once they are moved into a room with less humidity they will work again after a few hours. My only real complaint is the cost. Much to high for what you are getting. This is my reason for not giving 5 stars.

I use them on all kinds of surfaces but mostly metal they perform well with sharp edges

Worked for a week! After that, it was not very reliable.

Does the job but really wish I could get it in black. I'm using it to sign photographs which it does well, but a blue signature on a black and white print doesn't look great. If anyone can help me, please get in touch.
