For the money, they are well worth it. They are not giant subs for auto installs by no means. But I suppose they could be used if your really desperate for some bass. I used them to replace some old worn out speakers in some dj cabs I had. Totally refreshed them. They sound good. And have nice and clean sounding bass. Now mind you, these are woofers. They really don't produce the mids well. So if you're wanting full range speakers, you might want to add mids and a crossover to your cab. But all in all and nice sturdy speaker. Not at all disappointed in my purchase. The description said 200 watts. To my surprise when unboxing them they were stamped 400 watts each at 8 ohm. Perfect for my application.

This is a very good woofer at a low price! I've been using MCM speakers for 20+ years, and they are the best, low cost product out there. I bought 4 of these woofers to use 2 each in Pro/DJ type speaker cabinets (replacing 3 blown woofers from the previous owner). These are the cabinets made by several manufacturers that contain to 15" woofers, a mid piezo horn and 3 piezo tweeters. After replacing the woofers with these, we are powering the speakers with a Crown Micro-Tech 600 Amp; and they are really rockin' the house! I won't make an outlandish statement saying they'll replace $500 woofers, but they do what I needed them to do. They have pretty solid bass, and are fairly smooth through the upper midrange without any crossover, inductor or anything. I recommend them.

Bought as a replacement for a disintegrating driver in a subwoofer from the 80s. This was affordable, dropped right into the enclosure and sounds significantly better then the original. Probably not audiophile quality, but more then adequate for everyone else.

This fits just like it's supposed to. No modifications necessary. However, it is not for instruments. Definitely does not work unless it is a closed box. Not sure what it could work for.

So far, so good. The speaker arrived, well packaged, and on time. Got my rig back up and running quickly. Overall, this speaker seems to perform as well as the OEM part. It provides a decent thump for the price, and plug-and-play installation was a breeze. Time will tell if this speaker will outperform the original (which lasted nearly 15 years in this workhorse rig!), but I'm pleased with the price and performance thus far.

I bought these two 15 inch woofers to rebuild these old 90s rent-a center-speakers back to life. Sure beats the hell out of the original "Pro Studio" garbage that were in these boxes prior. They sound very good in my opinion! 200RMS watts is plenty for my old 70s Pioneer Silver faced Amplifier. Reason for loss of star is, one of the two speakers rims came bent. I had to form it back to shape the best I could with a rubber mallet. Seller should be aware of shipping and needs to pack with care, as not everyone will be willing to do what I did. Anyway, sound is good, bass is thick, and Heavy Metal music thumps nicely in my built boxes!

I'm impressed and in shock. These subs are made from quality construction. I bought them to replace JBLs I had in a PA set up and they sound better than the original JBLs. 1 word "quality" .. Heavy duty polypropylene cone, rubber surround, flat spider, 40oz magnet. You couldn't ask for more. These could easy be going for 3x that price. I tested them today with a 300 watt per channel PA amp and these handled it well. They did get warm pretty quick but that's to be expected. Stay within the 200 watt RMS range and you'll be OK. I wouldn't document for high volume Bass applications but I will definitely recommend these for PA, sound reinforcement and home sound system use.
